I promised you a video and here it is! This will give you a better idea how to use Stampin' Up!'s new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. This is a great new tool to go with the Simply Scored tool. I love it and I'm sure you will too! I used mine to make envelopes with my stamp club (Wild Wasabi Women!) last night and they loved it too!
This cute bag is from Leadership in San Antonio. It seems when Stampin' Up! holds an event all the Demonstrators receive a bag to carry all their supplies. Isn't this one cute? And, it is reversable. The bottom unbuttons and switches to another pattern. And, the fabric? I don't know for sure but I would think we might see it, and be able to purchase it, when the new catalog arrives in June!
And, we also received a matching portfolio with a tag signed by Shelli. I thought it would be fun to share these with you. Tomorrow ~ some super card samples from my team members at our Southern Stars meeting last Tuesday!
Stampin' Up!'s new DOILY DIE, #125592, creates a lovely background and I know you will love using it. But, first a couple of tips to make it easier for you ~
1. You may need to use a shim (such as a piece of card stock) when you send it through the Big Shot. Particularly when you are using Designer Series Paper like the sample above. The DSP is Mocha Morning Specialty Paper, #122366.
2. Because of its' intricate design, the negative pieces will not all come out automatically when you cut the die. It will help if you run it through the Big Shot several times ~ back and forth. Also, roll your doily around a pencil or pen to 'pop' the pieces. Roll it back the other way so that more of the small pieces will fall out.
3. Push the pieces out using the Paper Piercing Tool, #116631, or the small end of the Simply Scored Stylus, #125624.
There is a little more effort required when using this die but the results are definitely worth the effort!

Here is a great card sample using our New Pennant stamp set and a few new In-Colors. It's so colorful and uses Daffodil Delight along with three of our new In-colors: Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral.
This card was created by fellow demonstrator Amy O'Neill and was just too cute not to share. I can tell this new Pennant Parade stamp set is going to be a favorite!! When you layer the shapes using the Petite Pennants Builder punch, the skies the limit! This can be used for so many different occassions and events. I just love it!
Starting today at 12 noon moutain time (that's 2 PM here!), you can view the new 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog. This is a FABULOUS catalog with so many great new products. Just click the catalog to see them ~ after 2 PM!!!
Your going to love the new In-Colors too!! But don't worry, our current ones will still be around for another year while you get to enjoy the fresh new looks of Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder and Island Indigo. These new colors along with all the new Designer Series Papers, new punches and colorful new ribbons will add style to all your cards and projects. Be sure to watch my blog for samples of some of the new products.
Feel free to contact me to get your own personal copy of this great new catalog. I would love to put one in your hands and help you to enjoy all that it has to offer!
Stampin' Up!'s Summer Mini Catalog should be in your mail box this week sometime. This Mini begins on May 1 and everything is available through August 31, 2011. If you don't receive the mini, please let me know and I will put one in the mailbox to you immediately.
This card is a sneak peak using one of the sets in the Mini, Fabulous Florets. I know, I feel like I have enough flowers in my stamp cabinets now but it is so pretty I just had to have it! LOL! And, there is gorgeous designer series paper to go with the set ~ Beyond the Garden. I'll show you a DSP SNEAK PEAK tomorrow!
We have a week and a half until the products in the Occasions Mini Catalog are no longer available; please let me know if there is anything that you need. I will be placing one more order next week sometime.
I just love sharing great Valentines ideas with you. This card is a perfect example of that. It's a great design and so simple to make with our 1-1/4 Square punch. This card comes to us courtesy of fellow demonstrator Terry Blais and along with our new Glimmer paper, she also uses the Love Impressions Designer Series Paper and the new XOXO stamp set.
The background was created with our Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder from the current catalog. The Designer Series Paper Squares are punched with the 1-1/4 Square punch and the Full Heart punch was used on the Glimmer paper. Add some ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals to enhance it and you're done!
You can purchase any of the products used to create this card from my Stampin' Up! website here or email me for help.
ORGANIZING! On Wednesday we had 48 colors plus the in-colors and on Thursday we had 40 colors plus five different in-colors. So, THE CAT/ART STUDIO had to be completely reorganized to update all of the Stampin' Up! supplies! It meant going through all of the card stock, all of the markers, all of the stamp pads and refills and weeding out all of those colors I have been using for the last five years. I had help and am so thankful for my friends, Sally and Barbara, who were definitely here when I needed them. I also had another helper ~ a darling little list ~ and YOU can have one too! More tomorrow!
