I am sorry I missed my Sunday blog post with you! I wanted to show you the Basic Black stamp pads that my friend, Adrienne, brought over on Saturday afternoon to refill. Yes, she said she did remember that her stamp teacher always told her that she should purchase the little refill bottle every time that she bought a stamp pad. And, yes, she did buy one. And, yes, she couldn't find it! She is sooooo funny! I do tell eveyone to buy the refill when you purchase the stamp pad but I don't mind you bringing your stamp pads by for a little refill either ~ you are welcome, with or without your stamp pads, any time!
So then I looked at Adrienne's VERY WELL USED BASIC BLACK STAMP PADS and told her that it might be time to order another. Not that these weren't working really well for her (Stampin' Up! should be proud that they last so long ~ under constant and difficult circumstances obviously) but she might want to have one in reserve!
It is hard to see on this picture but Adrienne's stamp pad has a hole in the pad! I will post again this afternoon to make up for missing yesterday! In the meantime, do check to see if you have those little ink refills to make sure that the color that you stamp is bright and consistent ~ it really does make a difference! Happy Monday!

Lollie made using Stampin' Up!'s NEW Simply Scored Scoring Tool, #122334, on page 7 in the Holiday Mini Catalog. Want to know the best ways to use this new tool ~ come to class in the CAT/ART STUDIO. I will be happy to teach you.
I love this stamp set and wanted you to see a little gift box that I wrapped for a friend's upcoming birthday. The stamp set is Best Friends Forever, #122807, on page 90 in Stampin' Up!'s IB & C. Love my friend, Phyllis, too!
And, this card is made with the same stamp set, isn't it gorgeous? This was one of our make & take cards on cruise AND one that we made at my workshop parties this weekend ~ thanks Daphne and Amanda ~ and all your friends! Let's invite your friends over and have a party! It is so much fun ~ give me a call! Susan Elise
Another flower that you might want to try on a card, scrapbook page or for a ponytail accessory ~ it's the yoyo flower. Here's what you need ~ a circle of fabric (the Clear Circle Die is in the picture above and you can find it on page 207 in Stampin' Up!'s Idea Book & Catalog), needle & thread and buttons or a brad for the center.
Cut out your fabric using your Big Shot and the Circle Die ~ I cut eight layers of the fabric at the same time! Use a small running stitch after folding the edge of the circle in about 1/4". Pull your thread to gather the fabric together and tie off or make a knot. I added the button with a Dimensional, #104430.

I am in love with this Designer Series Paper, ICE CREAM PARLOR, in Stampin' Up!'s SALE-A-BRATION brochure! The colors are bright and pretty and there is so much paper (3 each of 3 double-sided designs) AND self adhesive die-cut sheets (2 each of 1 design) to use! This paper is fabulous for scrapbooking, cards and 3-D projects. Everyone who came to my SAB Open House last weekend got to use the paper in several different projects. Here is one of them ~ little treat cups.
You can probably see these better ~ without the paper behind them. They are so easy to make (you can make bunches) ~ and, they are my next video. Stay tuned! Hugs, Susan Elise
