This is Fritoe (Alan's name for him is Tripod), our dear sweet energetic six month old addition to the Cat/Art Studio.
I mentioned in my September Newsletter on Monday that I had received a card using the Painted Harvest stamp set (page 49 in the Holiday Catalog) as a Christmas Card! Really this set is an "around-the-year" stamp set ~ I think it could be used every month and for every occasion. I promised to post the card so here it is today. The demonstrator who created it is Georgia Giguere, a lovely lady that we met on our very first cruise with Stampin' Up! ~ at dinner on our way to Alaska. Enjoy!
Didn't get my Newsletter? Let me know if you would like to be on my list ~ I would be happy to add you. I send the newsletter once or twice a month to update you on Stampin' Up! specials, tell you about our products, explain new ways to use our tools, inspire you to new ideas and tell you about upcoming classes in the Cat/Art Studio. EMAIL ME.
Good Morning ~ Some of you were asking about the tape we used in our class as it was the absolute purrrrfect size to attach the very small trim we were using on our card, below ~
Feeling guilty I admitted that it was not a tape that Stampin' Up! has in the catalog but that my friend, Diane, brought to me as a gift. It is double sided and very easy to use. I asked Diane for her source and yesterday she told be that she ordered it from Scor-Pal out of Canada and that, if your order was at least $79, shipping was free. I got the following message from Diane this morning ~ Morning. I was looking around the net and Wal Mart has scor tape on line the 1/8 roll was about 3.00. Diane
THANKS for your help, Diane!!! I would be happy to put together an order so that we can save $ on the shipping. Let me know if you are interested. And, here are all the products that we used for the pretty card above (all the Stampin' Up! products we used ~ smile!).
My friend, Laurie, and her daughter, Katherine, decorated these mini bottles of wine as favors for a surprise baby shower for Katherine's sister-in-law. Aren't they darling?
You can find these cute animal stamps (purrrrrrfect for tags as they have a front and back!) on page 108 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog. And, Abby, I know you will be excited to learn that there are dies to match ~ Little Loves Framelits Dies ~ and the set is bundled!!! Perfect for those of you with children, or grandchildren, who like to craft.
It is difficult to STOP using the Stampin' Up! Holiday products on page 53 of the catalog. I put candy corn into the Treat Tubes (plastic) and decorated them using the Cat Punch and the Vintage Crochet Trim.
The cats are punched out of the 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper, Spooky Night. The problem is that when you punch out the 'whole' cats you also get cat parts. I saved all of the cat parts and wondered what to do with them. Making these tags was the answer ~ some of the tag cats just seem to 'hide'! Click on any of the images below to go directly to my online store (and, while you are there, be sure and check out the CLEARANCE RACK to save some crafting money!).
Have some fun with Designer Series Paper ~ this is just one way. And, all next month, the paper will be a special promotion from STAMPIN' UP! ~ buy three and get one FREE.

I don't usually post a video from someone else's blog but my excuse today is ~ right ~ Janie made me do it! Lots of you know my stamping friend, Janie Dodge, a very creative lady! Today she sent me a link to a YouTube video that I have to share with you! Of course, it might also be because it involves the Spooky Cat stamp set and the Cat Punch! Get out your bag of Hershey Kisses and enjoy!
