It is a terrible shock this time of year to take even a tiny moment to think about the upcoming holidays. But, since I have just been working on my mid-month NEWSLETTER and scheduling upcoming CARD CLASSES ~ I thought it best to warn you in advance that our Christmas Card Class will start in August. The newsletter will be out this week with all of the details. If you are interested you might want to let me know as this seems to be a popular class for any of us that send cards and warm thoughts in December. In the meantime you might want to print out the project sheet below ( I know you have this stamp set!).
This is one of my swap cards that I will be taking with me when we leave for our week with Stampin' Up! ~ cruising Alaska. I am participating in three swaps so I have been very busy stamping this past week! I love the new colors ~ Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather!
I love using my Big Shot every chance I get. So it makes sense that I am drawn to all the bundles that include Framelits and Thinlits Dies.
Today I have a video from Stampin' Up! to show us more about the Bouquet Blooms bundle. This bundle comes with the Bouquet Blooms stamp set and the Gatefold Blossoms Framelits Dies. You can find it on page 167 in your catalog. I love the flower dies for creating and adding dimension to your projects. Here is Natalie to show you a little more on how it all works.
This bundle is sure to make your life easier for creating adorable little gift card holder cards. If you rather, you can just use the stamp set and flower Framelits. You can check out all the options in my online store. Happy Stampining, Susan Elise
PS: Janie ~ this adds to your creative collection of notecards, right?
From Stampin' Up! ArtisanDesgnTeam Member Linda Van Wely-Zwolle @STAMPINWITHLIZDESIGN: “Having trouble sometimes creating a background with a watercolor image? With this tip you will have a lot of fun! A simple way to create a gorgeous background using a plastic bag and Watercolor Paper or Shimmery White Paper. Spritz some water on your paper with a Stampin’ Spritzer, create a ball of your plastic bag and dip it on your Classic Ink Pad. Then, apply the ink on your paper. You get the best result by drying your paper with a Heat Tool and applying one or two more layers doing the same. Every background will be unique! Have fun!” #ADTTipsAndTricks #TechniqueTuesday

This is an adorable video to share the excitement about the new free Ink Pad Assortment promotion going on this month at Stampin' Up!. When you JOIN Stampin' Up! (and my team), you will receive a color family of your choice. You can just feel the excitement as Shannon explains..........
As I am sure you know by now, Stampin' Up! has redesigned their stamp pads. The stamp pad itself is the same size but the case is not as wide or as tall. The base allows the pads to stack easily. Stampin' Up! has changed the way the pads open to make it easier for us to flip it open like a compact. The pad itself still slides to create a strong base. So what's with the white crayon? Some of you have told me that it is difficult to slide the stamp pad over the bottom when the pad is open like the one above. I know the pad will loosen up eventually but, in the meantime, I suggest finding a white crayon or a white birthday candle ~ something very waxy ~ and using it on the tracks on the inside providing a more lubricated (and less resistent) surface. Try it ~ let me know what you think.
I will be placing an order on SUNDAY, JULY 15, to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s July Designer Series Paper Special ~ BUY 3 GET 1 FREE.
