Butterfly Embosslit Die
April 20, 2010
I have information on the Butterfly Embosslit Die that is important to a lot of you as you have purchased this Stampin' Up! Big Shot die from me. Please pass the information on if you know someone who has this die from the Occasions Mini Catalog (you can find the die on page 24).
In order to ensure that the die continues to both emboss and cut you MUST run the die through the Big Shot with the hinge of the die parallel to the long side of the machine. In other words, the hinge needs to be 'rolled' the entire time the die is moving through the Big Shot to prevent it from snapping under pressure. This is a good lesson for all of us, I know I will change the position of my die next time I use it.
This striking card shows a wonderful use of the Butterfly Embosslit Die. This is a swap card created by Diane Glenn from Fayetteville, GA. Supplies include:

Stamp set: Fine Flourish, page 42, Occasions Mini Catalog
