Happy Tax Day!
April 17, 2012
Actually, I was wondering if it can be happy! What do you think? It is always so painful to write a check and have it totally disappear into thin air. So, to make your day a little better I thought I would offer you a little stamping special. I have three of these darling Blossom Builders Kits from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalog to give away to those of you who comment on my blog post today. Let me know your thoughts on making this a happy day! I will let Alan choose 3 of you to receive all of these happy flowers and put them in the mail to you this week!
Tax Day or not, free Stampin Up products always brighten my day! As for me, I am happier to spend today thinking about my 9 year old daughter, Maddie, than my taxes. She has worked very hard the last 7 months and has earned the privilege of being the starting pitcher on opening day for her fast-pitch softball team. Game-time is at 6:30 pm tonight. Picture taking time starts 20 minutes before if I can see though my teary eyes! :-)

I always do my taxes as early as possible in the year so when "tax day" comes, I hardly notice. Today, I started the day with an amazing group of moms at a beautiful park. Then, I spent the afternoon with a good friend. And finally, my family and I grabbed a bite to eat and found out that kid's eat free, military gets 10% off and because it was tax day, we got even more discount. 6 of us ate for the price of 2!
So now, when Alan (my very best friend with the best stereo tv room I've ever seen who brews the best beer and makes the best wine) picks my name and I get free product; it'll be the best tax day in my recorded history!!
P.S. Go Maddie!! I expect to see a scrapbook page Susan; or at least a photo! :)

Sorry I am a day late..could not get on the Internet last night. My tax day was interesting because I planted my garden! I should have enough squash and tomatoes to share. This kit will be fun to share with my granddaughter, Ella. She made a thank you card yesterday for a older lady who had brought a birthday gift to her younger sister, Kaitlyn. Ella disappeared for a few minutes went to her room and came back out with a thank you card. The card brought tears to the older lady. That Ella she is a sweetheart! Ella learned to make cards from Susan Elise. So tax day was a good day ....thanks Susan Elise!
