 This pretty card was created by Riley Fitzgerald and was on Stampin' Up!'s website for demonstrators, Stampin' Connection.  Isn't it darling?  This is such a nice stamp set ~ the images are small enough for tags and 3 x 3 cards and it has lots of personality!  The trees can change with the seasons!  Enjoy your Friday ~ one more day and we fly south to enjoy a week at Disney with my Stampin' Up! friends ~ what could be more fun!

     I wanted to provide you with additional information about Stampin' Up!'s Retiring Accessories List ~ and, make it easier for you!  There are so many products on the list that it is hard to know what you have and what you need to buy before it is gone.  Here is a breakdown of the retiring products with links to my store so you have pictures to put with the names of the products.

Unchartered Territory

You can find this beautiful retiring stamp set on page 101 in Stampin' Up!'s Idea Book & Catalog.  In Norfolk, we are surrounded by the sea (so to speak ~ the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean plus bridges and tunnels everywhere!).  And, yes, a lighthouse ~ right down the street on Shore Drive!  So, this is one of those 'must have' stamp sets!

Isn't this card gorgeous?  No, I didn't create it.  I found it as one of many samples on Stampin' Connection which is on Stampin' Up!'s website for demonstrators.  You see, we don't have to create everything 'from scratch' as we have lots of help from other demonstrators ~ from all over the world!  This card was created by Shoni Matney and uploaded for everyone to admire ~ and use for their blogs and stamp parties!  Yea ~ what an advantage.  One more sample for you and another retiring stamp set tomorrow ~ thanks for stopping by!

Spring Fever Stamp-A-Stack

Stampin' Up!'s Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' Kit is a fabulous way to scrapbook or to make cards.  Yesterday I hosted a Stamp-A-Stack and my friends ~ Andrea, Denise, Paula, Kim, Terrie, Donna, Michelle S., Marietta, Michelle P. and Betty joined me.  They made 16 cards using one-half of the kit above.

Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits are so easy to use!  They use color coordinated (everything SU does seems to be color coordinated!) designer series papers, textured card stock and self adhesive accent pieces.  The colors in this kit are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Basic Gray.  The kit contains 3 sheets each of 12" x 12" double-sided DSP, 2 designs; 2 sheets of each color of textured card stock and three 12" x 12" self-adhesive accents.  Everything is acid and lignin free.  Below are several of the cards we created ~

Fifth Avenue Floral

Fifth Avenue Floral, #113734, set of 5, $24.95 is on Stampin' Up!'s Retirement List.

 It is a gorgeous set and you may be interested in the technique used for the rose on this card.  We made this several years ago in my stamp clubs (a reminder to all of you club members).  We used Shimmery White card stock, #101910, and embossed the rose using Versamark, #102283, and white embossing powder #109132.  Then we wet the rose using our Aqua Painter, #103954, and dropped re-inker colors into the sections of the rose.  The ink spreads to create very natural looking petals.

D is for Dog

D is for Dog, #115784, set of 6, $15.95 ~ wood only

This dog retires on May 31st.  It will be available until that date, Stampin' Up! will not run out of stamps as they manufacture all of the stamp sets themselves.  However, the accessories are a different story.  The RETIRED ACCESSORY List will be out on April 25th ~ next Wednesday ~ and these products are in limited supply and will only be available on a first come, first receive basis!  YOU will want to order them as soon as possible!
