Elegant Bird Bigz Die
Stampin' Up!'s Elegant Bird Bigz Die, #125593, on page 193 in the annual catalog can be used to make that special card or project.  These samples are, again, from the sample boards at convention and show how easy it is to use with the Big Shot. The stamp set used on the bird, above, is Bordering on Romance (#125482) and you can find it on page 120 in the annual catalog.  It is also used on the pretty vellum envelope below.

Convention Sample Boards

Bows on the board
Stampin' Up! staff works so hard to make sure that everyone who attends convention has an opportunity to see all of the new products and to see new ways to use those products!  This sample board featured the new POLKA DOT PARADE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER (#126902, page 151) to make these darling bows on our KRAFT GIFT BOXES (#124106, page 161).

Cards from convention ~

Card - cotton ribbon
At Stampin' Up!'s Convention in July demonstrators were able to choose to attend classes in the evening.  I choose one class, I AM CREATIVE, because it was presented by Stampin' Up!'s concept artists!  I couldn't wait to hear what they had to say and I wasn't disappointed!  I thought I would share several of the samples that they produced for us while we were in class.  The card above uses 7/8" Cotton Ribbon (#127844)  from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog.  It is used again in the second card and this time it is combined with the Border Banter stamp set (#128930) on page 20 in the same catalog.

Card - cotton ribbon 2

In addition, this card is sprayed with color using the new STAMPIN' SPRITZER (#126185) on page 179 in the annual catalog.  You just fill the empty bottle with liquid and any color of Classic Ink Refill.  Two bottles are just $2.95.

Card - Spritzers

Here is the recipe that you will want to use ~ fill the spritzer about 7/8's full of rubbing alcohol and then add approximately 10 drops of refill (add less for a more subtle look).  If you want your spray to sparkle, add Frost White Shimmer Paint (#116854) to the mix.  You can find the shimmer paint on page 158.  We will be using the Spritzers in all my September Stamp Clubs ~ it's a great way for stampers to learn about new products and to produce samples of their own.  If you are interested in joining a stamp club email me for more information.  Thanks for stopping by ~ Susan Elise

Hamilton Ontario Fall Regional

Shelli's Tag

Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up!'s Founder and CEO, had this elaborate tag on her blog this week. She always demonstrates at Regional Events and this was made by one of Stampin' Up!'s concept artists for her to demonstrate at the Hamilton Ontario Fall Regional last weekend.  I thought you might enjoy it and get some ideas for your own tags for the holidays.
