We deserve some beauty...

The devastation is terrible and none of us can see the pictures of the results of Sandy without having our heart ache.  I thought we needed a little beauty in our lives today and I choose this beautiful card that my friend, Julia, sent me.  Isn't it lovely?

Julia used Stampin' Up!'s stamp, Hello, Doily, for the background of her card.  It is embossed using Whisper White embossing powder.  The stamped focus point of the card is from the stamp set, Apothecary Art.  It is stamped in Basic Black and colored in with markers.  It is cut out using the Labels Collection Framelits.  Julia added pearls to the center of the flowers.

I think that Stampin' Up! had a busy day yesterday ~ the Spooktacular Stamp Sale was successful.  I want to thank all of you who ordered and hope that you will enjoy your new stamp sets.  Don't forget that you can choose sample cards from my collection as a gift for your order.  And, have a beautiful day!

Mr. Snowman Gift Card Holder

Today is the holiday event/fundraiser for Lee's Friends and I will be there all day ~ join me ~ I would love for you to stop by.  I will be selling handmade cards for Autumn, Christmas and everyday events, retired stamp sets, bookmarks.  And, there are so many wonderful vendors ~ a great way to get your holiday shopping started.

Cute Penguin Gift Card Holder

This gift card holder was a project for my STAMP CLUBS a year or so ago.  I found him the other day when I was looking though my collection of holiday cards and projects and thought I would share him with you ~ isn't he cute?  And, he is easy to make.  Here is the inside ~

Greetings of the Season

Another gorgeous card using the new Holiday Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder that I showed you yesterday.  This is another card that Shelli created for the recent Regional Meeting ~ a gathering of Demonstrators to share and learn held across the country by Stampin' Up!  In addition, the Real Red card stock is cut with the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L die, #126999.  You can find it on page 191 in the Annual Catalog.
