Scentsational Season
November 13, 2012
Stampin' Up! has events across the country throughout the year. These regional events allow Demonstrators from the surrounding areas to attend a fun filled day with product demonstrations, swaps, and presentations by SU corporate staff. Last weekend the regional was in Lansing, Michigan and there were 850 attendees. 200 of those were guests of Demonstrators and 70 of those guests signed up to be Demonstrators themselves! WOW!
Shelli Gardner, Co-Founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!, attends nearly every regional event (nearly every SU event actually ~ she is amazing!) and she presents a project. This is her Lansing project ~ a little gift for a friend or neighbor made with the Fancy Favor Die. She cut off the decorative edge on the top and wrapped the box in designer series paper.
The handles are added using Circle Punches. It's a little hard to read but, if you want to make this for a cute Christmas gift, here is what you would do ~ 1. Punch a circle from Whisper White card stock using the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. 2. Use the 2 1/2" Circle Punch over the top of the previously punched circle creating the handle. 3. The bottom circle in the picture shows where to cut (the solid line), score (the dotted line). 4. Fold on the dotted line and attach to your box using Sticky Strip.
Stampin' Up! offers a wonderful opportunity to have fun at your job and earn money doing it ~ it is fabulous to be able to share what you love with others. And, this month, if you sign up YOU receive a full set of new stamp pads ~ plus over $100 worth of products. Call me or email me for more information and join my team.
