New morning stamp club beginning soon...

I am forming a new Stamp Club and thought YOU might be interested!

Tuesday morning, 10 AM ~ Noon

First Meeting:  Tuesday, February 12

This will be a monthly club meeting for six stampers and is a great time to continue your crafting journey or to begin it ~ everyone is welcome!  I have four ladies committed to this club at this time and would like to have at least six by the first club meeting.

How does it work?  You will meet once a month to create two projects.  There is no fee for the class but each person agrees to a Stampin' Up! order of $25 at each meeting.  The club will meet for six months ~ February through July 2013.  Each person in the club will take a turn being the Hostess and receive Hostess Benefits (at least $25 in Stampin' Up! product).

If you have questions, please email me or give me a call for more information.

Paper Pumpkin

One of the announcements that Stampin' Up! made last week at Leadership was about a new program, Paper Pumpkin.  So, what is Paper Pumpkin?

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly project kit that  . . .

  • will come to your door each month (a fully decked-out creativity carriage).
  • will give you a way to escape your life with some paper fun.
  • will come in a sweet box.
  • will contain all the stamps, ink, paper, and accessories to create pinable projects.
  • will contain creative stuff like cards, journals, decor, and more!

Paper Pumpkin is your paper fairy godmother (without the white hair), your creativity problem-solver that  designs, colors, measures and cuts it all for you.

The Welcome Kit is the very first Paper Pumpkin you will receive in your first month of membership. The Welcome Kit includes a free gift ~ a clear acrylic "D" block!

  •  Simply sign up for the program now by visiting
  •  Click "Get It."
  •  Complete the online form
  •  If you are my customer, please be sure to choose me (Susan Elise Morton) as your demonstrator during the ordering process.

Of course, you'll want to know more. So here's the nitty gritty from Stampin' Up!

  •  Each month we send you a unique, surprise kit with a project-cards, journals, décor, and more! (We've even color-coordinated, measured, and cut everything for you!)
  •  Each kit includes stamps, ink, paper, and accessories-everything but adhesive.
  •  Each kit gives a 30-minute creativity escape.
  •  We will ship your Paper Pumpkin on or around the 15th of the month.
  •  You need to sign up for a kit by the 10th of the month to get that month's kit. If you sign up on the 11th of the month, your first kit will come the next month. (Let's say you sign up on May 10th, we'll send your kit around May 15th. If you sign up on May 11th, we'll send your first kit around June 15th.)
  • A Paper Pumpkin membership is $19.95 per month (and shipping is included!)

  •  Starting in early March, Stampin' Up! will offer a Try-It kit if you'd like to try Paper Pumpkin for one month. See the Try It Kit below.  Learn more.

25 years SU
Stampin' Up! is Kicking off their 25th Anniversary this week in Orlando.  25 years is quite an accomplishment beginning with Shelli and her sister starting the business in their homes (with lots of young children) to a company that has offices in nine different countries with more than 40,000 demonstrators.  What an amazing way to make a difference in the world ~ sharing what we love to do, meeting wonderful people, constantly learning and creating.  I leave in the morning for Leadership.  I will be sharing with you the highlights of the trip/celebration!  I am so excited!

Valentine Ideas ~

Valentine frame
I know that you are beginning to think about how to best celebrate our next significant 'reason for creating something that is handmade' ~ event, Valentine's Day!  The above is an easy gift or a framed piece for your stamp room ~ cheery and bright ~ a reason to smile!  You only need pretty paper and Stampin' Up!'s Full Heart Punch, #119883 (page 182 in the annual catalog).

Loving Heart
Or, try this one ~ easy and oh so pretty ~ this card uses Stampin' Up!'s Red Glimmer Paper, #121790 (a must for this celebration!), Hearts Collections Framelits and More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper, #129309.  I will also be using this paper in my upcoming Valentine Portfolio Class on Sunday afternoon, January 27th.  Let me know if you are interested, email me now!

A special offer for Valentine's Day ~ it's right around the corner!

On the left of the picture above is a little treat bag using our 1" x 8" long cello treat bags.  The one above has red and white candies in it ~ I usually add pencils (trip to the $ Store this morning for Valentine pencils) ~ can't wait to make them.  The treat bags are FREE when you purchase the onsie stamp below ~

VALENTINE OFFER 4The Heart Stamp is $5.95, for clear blocks, #132771.  Let me know if you are interested by Tuesday so that I can place an order for you.  I leave Wednesday morning to go to Leadership in Orlando.

And, I wanted to say a special THANK YOU to Margaret Spencer who is the Administrator of HUNTER HOUSE VICTORIAN MUSEUM, on Freemason Street, downtown Norfolk.  She invited me to have a stamp party (we made thank you cards) at Hunter House Friday morning.  It was a lovely setting and I met some lovely ladies ~ such a nice time.  Thanks, Margaret!
