Oval Framelit Bunny Basket
I can’t believe how fast Easter is coming up this year! My calendar is quickly filling up with egg hunts, classroom parties, and family dinners—so I’ve been playing with some different ideas for little favors and treats. Today, I wanted to share one of my favorites with you!
Didn’t he turn out cute? Plus he’s really simple and quick to put together.
I had some More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper left over from Valentine’s Day projects, so I used that and Naturals Ivory Cardstock. I stamped my cardstock with the Distressed Dots Background Stamp and embossed it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder to give it some texture. After that, I used a few dies and punches to build my Easter Bunny. Here is a list of the parts you’ll need:
Body: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (I used the fourth from the smallest)
Hands: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (smallest oval cut in half)
Feet: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (smallest oval cut in half)
Ears: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (smallest oval) and Large Oval Punch
Nose: Small Heart Punch (trim off the top edge of the heart)
Eyes: Owl Punch
Whiskers: Pool Party Baker’s Twine
Basket: Petite Purse Bigz L Die
I hope you’ll be able to use this project as you celebrate Easter and spring this year.
Happy Easter!Carrie C.

How would you like a little sneak peek at a stamp set coming soon in the 2013-2014 Annual catalog? Well, Stampin' Up! has a new promotion that will do just that!
Here's your pre-sneak peek look at A Round Array! It's an adorable set that you can use for so many different occasions and if you already have the punch (released in the Spring catalog), you can order it without it!! This set is so perfect for note cards, gift tags and simple thank you cards.
Click the flyer above for more information and to print it out for your Stampin' Up! notebook.
Yesterday afternoon was my monthly Southern Stars meeting ~ so nice to see everyone on my demonstrator team ~ lvoely ladies! Marion Swaim brought these cards to share ~ she has been using up her scraps making these cute Easter eggs ~ so easy & fast to make! Line up your paper strips on scrap card stock and then use the NEW Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (#129381, page 4, Spring Catalog) to cut the scalloped oval Thanks for sharing, Marion.
Marion also used the pretty lace that you see on both her cards ~ Delicate Details Lace Tape (#130966, page 3, Spring Catalog). The best thing about this tape is that it is self-afhesive ~ YOU don't have to worry about how to 'glue' it down! It comes in two different designs, 1" wide and 3/4" wide, each 3.28 ft.
Enjoy ~ and, get those Easter cards in the mail! Hugs, Susan Elise
