Graduation Gift ~

Gift for Catie w card
Welcome to my very first blog tour!  I have been excited to plan what I wanted to show you and to make sure it was up to the standards of the sponsoring group ~ SUDSOL!  I have been a member of SUDSOL almost as long as I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator ~ yikes ~ 14 years!  It is a fabulous resource for demonstrators ~ inspiration is just a small part of what they provide!

My niece, Catie, graduated on Monday this week so I made her a card and a special box for her gift (a sparkly bracelet from Brighton) using Stampin' Up!'s new washi tape.  I thought you might like to copy these ideas for your own gifts.

Washi round container 2
Washi round container 3 ~ punch
I know you save the round containers that contain buttons, brads, etc. so here is a great way to reuse them.  The 2 1/2" Circle Punch (#120906) is the perfect size to cover the lid.  Just trace the shape and cover it with washi tape (I used Gingham Garden tape, #129314) and punch.  I attached it to the top using Sticky Strip, #104294)I created the card using the window sheet from Quatrefancy Specialty designer series paper (#130141) and the stamp sets,  Chalk Talk (#130631) and Pure Gumption (#126317).

Next, I decided to cover clothespins with the Washi Tape (#129314) and add a fun little giftie ~

And, I wrapped it all up and added a tag I made using the Gingham Garden designer series paper (#129310), Chalk Talk set and framelits (#129983), Deco Labels framelits (#130102) and Bermuda Bay ink pad (#131171).  The base of the tag is Vanilla Coaster Board, it is just the right weight to add a little structure for the tag.  And, I used the new Big Shot Magnetic Platform (#130658) ~ you will love it ~ so easy and FAST!

Thanks so much for joining me for my first blog tour.  If you are a Demonstrator and interested in joining SUDSOL (I highly recommend it!) you can subscribe here for a FREE two week trial or email me for more information.  Join me tomorrow for a thank you card using these same products!

On to the next blog ~ have fun!

I love that little tag! I find that dsp a bit busy - but you have made it look so pretty! TFS!

I would not know that this is your first blog hop!
