Mystery Hostess announcement

I thought I would make my MYSTERY HOSTESS announcement early as Alan has choosen the winner.  I wish everyone could win but, not possible.  And, the lucky stamper is TRACEY BECK!  You may have met her in a class or a club meeting ~ she is a sweetheart and, unfortunately, moving back to California (fortunately for her I am sure!).  I will miss seeing her but this was a good way to'send her off' to her new surroundings.

Magnetic Platform Video

It was obvious to me from the very beginning what my favorite product was/is in the new catalog! It's the Magnetic Platform for the Big Shot.  It makes using Framelits & Edgelits a dream and you don't have to go through tons of Post it Notes or tape!  What a great concept AND a real time saver!

My second MYSTERY HOSTESS  for my event on Sunday afternoon was ~  KATY BRYANT!  One of the products that Katy ordered with her Hostess Dollars is the beautiful stamp set, Wetlands, on page 69 in the new Stampin' Up! catalog.  I found a gorgeous picture online of a card using the set that I want to share with you ~

 

The stamp set, Wetlands, is a set of 6 ~ clear #126697 for $16.95 or wood #126695 for $21.95.  Gorgeous!

And, she is so thrilled!!!  She has already told me exactly what she wants to order with her HOSTESS BENEFITS (she checked her WISH LIST) and can't wait to get her new Stampin' Up! goodies.  She said she came to the BOGO/MYSTERY HOSTESS EVENT on a whim ~ stopped by after church yesterday!  We really did have a good afternoon ~ lots of shoppers and lots of new product ordered.

Have you ever used your Embossing Powder and Heat Tool on something other than a card or scrapbook project?  I found a great idea using the pretty stamp set, Regarding Dahlias (#130327 c or #130324 w), on the Stampin' Up! blog.

Third Thursday Class ~ get well cards

This is one of the three cards that we made last night at my Third Thursday Class.  It uses the Flower Shop Bundle (saves you 15%!), the Chevron embossing folder and the new Chevron Ribbon.  I love the new ribbon and could it be any easier to make a banner ~ just follow the lines ON the ribbon!

This is the second card using the greeting stamp set, Sassy Salutations ~ which is on sale ~ 25% off this month, the jumbo wheel Butterfly Collection and the new Deco Labels Collection framlits.  I love Stampin' Up!'s new color, Smoky Slate, in both these cards ~ so pretty!

June "Best of" Stamp Set

The celebration continues!!
As part of the 25-year anniversary celebration, Stampin' Up! is bringing back some favorite stamp images from the last 25 years and combining them into 12 sets.  One set will be released each month during 2013.  What a great chance to see some old favorite images!
