Just a reminder about my last class for holiday projects ~ my Festive Flurry Class ~ on Sunday afternoon, December 8, at 2 PM. We will be using the Festive Flurry stamp set (#131781, page 30 HC) and the matching framelits (#132193). Plus, we now have the ornament package to add to the class. Hot cocoa and Christmas cookies to add to a fun afternoon. In the meantime ~ have a wonderful Thanksgiving Eve ~ and have fun getting ready for tomorrow! Hugs, Susan Elise

My clever Uncle & our anniversary

Our anniversary is tomorrow and last week we received the ultimate in a handmade anniversary card! I sent Stampin' Up!'s Card Kit for Men to my Uncle Dick on his birthday in September. He got a little stressed over the stamp pad, stamps and paper and we had several phone conversations about what to do first, etc. I thought I was going to have to fly to Green Bay to tutor him!
But all that changed, when this card arrived in the mail this week ~ I was blown away with his creativity!!! Check this out!

Metallic Encore Pads

Stampin' Up! has added bling in the form of Metallic Encore Pads to the Holiday Catty this year. You can find both the gold and the silver pads on page 28. I used the silver to make a tag for a Christmas present that I wrapped this week.
I also used the stamp set, Wonderful Wreath on page 34 in the Holiday catalog. It only comes in wood and is a onsie stamp ~ very pretty, don't you think?
Last night's class....

Last night was THIRD THURSDAY CLASS in the Cat/Art Studio so I thought I would show you the cards we made. Third Thursday is a monthly class, however we are going to skip December. The next Third Thursday class will be January 16 and the theme is Valentine Cards. You will make 6 cards, 2 each of 3 designs. The class is $15 or FREE with an minimum order of $25. For the first card we used this stamp set ~ you can find it on page 36 in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catty.
To create the second card we used Stampin' Up!'s new Expressions Thinlits Dies, #132171, on page 36 in the Holiday catty.
Our third project for the evening was the Festive Flurry Ornament! Let me know if you would like to join us in January ~ reserve your space now!

We all have so much to be thankful for and it will be interesting to share those thoughts next week when we sit down to Thanksgiving dinner. I used Stampin' Up!'s Kit, above, to set my dining room table early in November ~ just to show off how easy and quick this kit is to use. And, I have had lots of nice comments. Actually, I will have to transport my decorations to our cottage in the mountains as that is where we will be spending the holiday. Here is my table ~
