Hi Ho Silver

Hi Ho Silver Class last night, actually a stamping party ~ right, Cyndi?  This card uses the stamp set Perfect Pennants on page 27 in the Occasions Catalog along with Silver Foil and Soft Sky card stock and seam binding.

This card uses the stamp set, Another Great Year, on page 34 of the Occasions Catalog, Silver Foil, Silver embossing powder and Rhinestones.  Certainly could be a brother or Father card and, also, dressed up with some flowers or ribbon for a sister or Mom.  More tomorrow....

Product review for you....

Hi!  I wanted to review the Envelope Punch Board with you because of my post yesterday ~ the little gift envelope.  Here is a video so you can review it at your leisure.  I really like this product, it is easy to use and so nice to be able to whip up matching envelopes to those pretty cards using the same pattern or a coordinating pattern of Designer Series Paper.  Besides the board it has it's own scoring tool and punch for rounding edges.  Thanks for stopping by ~ if you have any questions, just give me a call or email!

All that Glitters vs. Hi Ho Silver

This was one of the projects in my All That Glitters Class this month and will be one of the projects in my Hi Ho Silver Class on Thursday this week ~ I have room for you in class ~ join me Thursday morning at ten or Thursday evening at six!

Here is the information that you need for this darling little gift ~

Supplies:

Card stock:  Gold Foil and Gold Vellum DSP

Punches:  Modern Label Punch, 7/8" Scallop Punch and Large Oval Punch

Accessories:  Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Mini Glue Dots, Rhinestones and the Envelope Punch Board

Directions:

1.  Follow guidelines on the Envelope Punch Board for 3" x 3" envelope, carefully score and gently fold.

2.  Punch label, add Dimensionals on each end.  Insert candy into envelope and add label across the center to hold the envelope together.

3.  Punch 3 ovals.  Add Mini Glue Dots to the back small ends of 2 ovals, fold gently to form a bow.

4.  Fold the third oval in half, cut V in folded edge to create the ends of the bow, adhere to the label punch covering the opposite ends using Mini Glue Dots.  Add loops to complete bow.

5.  Punch Scalloped Circle and cut in to create petals.  Add to center of bow and attach a rhinestone to the center.

6.  The top flap of the envelope will slip under the label to close the little gift.

Faux Dip Dyed Technique

Adding color to your projects can be fun so try something new ~  Faux Dip Dying.  The ribbon in the picture, and on the video, can be found on page 173 in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog.  It is 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, # 127844, 10 yards for $7.95.  It's a lovely natural ribbon and you can make it any color you would like!  Let me know if you try this technique ~ send me a picture of your project!

Southern Stars Swap

My team, Southern Stars, met on Tuesday last week.  We get together once a month to stamp, talk, eat and SWAP!  We swap full cards so that we can use them, not just for ideas, but for sending to friends.  I always feel 'rich' the day after our meeting because I have these pretty new cards made by my friends.  I thought you would like to see a couple of the cards from the meeting ~

Birthday Stack continued

Here are the three remaining cards that we created for the class last Saturday.  If you would like to get in on the fun the next STAMP-A-STACK CARD CLASS will be on Saturday morning, March 15.  We will be making Spring cards ~ Easter, St. Pat's Day included.  Email me if you are interested and I will send you the information about the four remaining months of classes.  The class fee is $25 and you will make 12 cards.
