At our team meeting on Tuesday one of our activities was a card swap. Swappers make their cards at home and bring them to the meeting. My team always does a really great job with their swap cards so I thought you might like to see some of the cards ~
Yesterday I mentioned that Kathy Winter was our demo for the evening. Kathy demonstrated how to make the cute card below and she brought everything so that everyone at the meeting could make the card! Thank you, Kathy!!!

Last night was our monthly team meeting and the Southern Stars got together to create a DSP SAMPLE BOOK. A what? With the new Stampin' Up! catalog comes lots of new products and, specifically, all of the Designer Series Paper ~ it's all new! So everyone created page after page of the new paper ~ labeled and organized so that you could see title, the colors and both sides of each of the paper designs. It is a great tool as you can see each actual piece of paper, not a picture in the catalog ~ ask me about it when you are in the Cat/Art Studio next time. AND, even more fabulous is that next month, JULY, Stampin' Up! is offering a DSP SPECIAL ~ buy 3 and get 1 FREE. Yea! Here's some of the team members ~ working hard (and, having a great time!).
Janie sent me a picture of a sweet card that she made for a friend's wedding last weekend. She also made the envelope using the Envelope Punch Board ~ a fabulously creative tool ~ there are so many different projects that you can make using it! And, 66 different sizes of envelopes!!! WOW!
This card uses two new stamp sets ~ Chalk Lines and Traveler. The ink color is Lost Lagoon which is one of Stampin' Up!'s five new ink colors this year. The ribbon on the tag is a good way to tell the true color.
This is a stamp titled 'Friends Who Know' and it says 'We'll be Friends forever because you already know too much'! Don't we all have someone that we could send this card to? The base card is covered with the gold vellum designer series paper and the gold foil is layered underneath the saying. Hope you enjoyed the cards from Saturday's stamp-a-stack. My next STAMP-A-STACK CLASS will be in August. This will be a HOLIDAY SAS and will run for 4 months ~ let me know if you are interested. What's a STAMP-A-STACK? It's a card making class with six designs and everyone makes two of each of the cards to take home with them. It's a busy morning of card making. This birthday card uses the new stamp set, So Very Happy, watercolor paper and glitter!
