Convention extension.....

During convention one of the most popular activities is Make & Takes!  What's a Make & Take?  Stampin' Up! supplies all the materials needed, cut and ready to use, and the project idea.  It gives us new ideas to use when we get home.  I rarely finish, or even start, my projects at Stampin' Up! events as it seems to me to be too many other things to do.  Marion Swaim and I roomed together at the lovely Little America Hotel in Salt Lake.  We made a pact that we would get together at home and FINISH our M & T's!  We did it!!!  Saturday afternoon we sat down and finished them so I thougth I would show them to you.  What do you think?

Southern Stars Shoe Box Swap

Yesterday morning several of my team members (Southern Stars) arrived in the Cat/Art Studio along with everything they needed for a SHOE BOX SWAP.  So, why would we swap shoe boxes?  Just a saying ~ what we were really doing was stamping ~ of course!  Each person prepared a card that everyone could make and it was so much fun.  I thought you would want to see the cards we made ~

Paper Pumpkin extended......

July's PAPER PUMPKIN arrived while I was in Salt Lake City so I opened my orange box this week and treated one of my stamp clubs to the goodies inside the box.  The kit included a stamp set, a Stampin' Spot, 6 card bases, 6 printed boxes and all of the accessories to make some pretty cute cards and boxes ~ with extra goodies left over.

Shelli's daughter, Sara, presented at convention and one of her projects was this month's PP Kit.  Above, she took the top off of the box, cut the cards in half and decorated them to make cute tags.  A super little gift!

And, she changed the card to show that all of us can extend the use of these kits beyond the original instructons in the PP box. 

5 months from today.....

Last night was THIRD THURSDAY STAMP CLASS in the Cat/Art Studio and the theme was CHRISTMAS IN JULY ~ very timely as it was exactly 5 months until Christmas Eve.  This class is designed for everyone to make six cards ~ 2 each of 3 designs ~ so I thought I would share them with you.  And, in addition, my newest Southern Star, Debbie, was in class last night ~ YEA DEBBIE!
