Make these today for tomorrow............

Bat Cupcakes October meeting
Easy Peasy BAT CUPCAKES

1 package chocolate cake mix

1/2 container store-bought chocolate frosting

1 package fudge-striped shortbread cookies

1 (6 ounce) bag milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped

1 small tube store-bought red frosting

*Prepare cake mix according to package directions for cupcakes.  Let cool completely in muffin pan.  (Unfrosted cupcakes can be frozen up to 2 weeks ahead.)  Spread chocolate frosting over cupcakes.

*Break cookies in half or cut with a serrated knife for wings.  With stripes facing away from you, press points of cookie halves down through frosting into cupcake deep enough for them to stand on their own.  For body, put a chocolate kiss in front of cookies with its point facing you.  Pipe 2 eyes with red frosting.

HAPPY TRICK OR TREATS!

Season to Season Wreath Project

Melissa stopped by yesterday afternoon to pick up her Stampin' Up! order from our October Stamp Club meeting.  I was watching this video when she walked in the door (carrying a UPS/Stampin' Up! package ~ thank you, Melissa) which turned out to be perfect because the wreath was in her order!  I was listening to the video because I wanted to make my wreath this weekend and, funny, so does she!  The only problem is we will be making our wreaths in two different locations ~ it would be such fun to make them together!!!!  Here's the video and you can find the kit and stamp set on page 6 in the Holiday Catalog.  (Hoping to have mine finished so that I can show you next week some time!)

Wonderland

Wonderland

This card was my swap card for my October Team Meeting ~ I think I showed you all the others in the swap.  This stamp set, Wonderland, is lovely (not sure about the antlers but I am sure someone has a great idea ~ I'll be keeping an eye out for that idea!) and you can find it on page 23 in the Holiday catalog.

Melissa's beautiful sunburst...

Melissa Burroughs sent me a picture recently and I thought I would share it with you this morning.  She is a talented, and consistent, stamper and a member of one of my stamp clubs.  We had used this technique a year or so ago (sorry, I don't remember exactly when) and I love what she did with it.  Thanks so much for sharing your pretty card, Melissa!

Shaker Cards Kit

Stampin' Up! has included a PROJECT KIT in the Holiday Catalog that will provide you with a fun afternoon with family members.  That's what happened last Saturday afternoon in the Studio when my team members got together to make cards with the To You & Yours Kit (top of page 4 in the catty ~ 18 cards).  There were lots of smiles, laughter and coordinated efforts to make the cards below.  The kit would make a super 'Girl's Night Out' holiday get-together!
