Good Morning! I am back in the Studio after a lovely, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday in the mountains with friends, Mitchell and Phyllis, and Alan (the cats stayed home and were well taken care of by our friend, Lauren). I thought I was going to add something really crafty this morning ~ something creative ~ but instead I found this Stampin' Up! video about Fast Fuse that you need to see. I use Fast Fuse adhesive almost exclusively now and really like the way that it holds on our projects. I know I was hesitant initially to recommend this product to you because I had difficulty with it and didn't want you to go through the same thing that I was experiencing. If I had seen this video before I started using it I would have been fine. That's why it is on my blog today ~ if you follow these recommendations, YOU will be fine with your own FAST FUSE! I love this stamp set< Heartfelt Sympathy, and have used it several times recently. I have the directions for you ~ please feel free to download the directions and use any DSP in your collection. I used the pretty paper, English Garden, from Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.The saying is embossed using the Whisper White craft stamp pad and White embossing powder. I cut the vellum wider than the DSP, scored it lightly and folded the ends around to the back. That way you will not need to use adhesive under the vellum ~ it always shows and looks a little tacky if you know what I mean. Enjoy ~ directions here ~

I haven't tried this cookie recipe yet but I will today ~ if you try it, let me know what you think! It sounds like a good way to use persimmons! Persimmons can be used in jam, muffins, cake, bread and cookies. They can also be eaten like an apple ~ fresh. You will want to peel them as the outer skin is a little tough, peel them like you would peel an apple. Do stop by.............Susan Elise
