Love & Affection stamp set & Lynne

This is Lynne and she is holding a card she made at our OPEN HOUSE & BOGO SALE on Sunday afternoon.  She is an enthusiastic stamper and has been a Demonstrator for over a year.  She doesn't get to stamp as much as she would like because of her full time job but has just redone her stamp space (you may remember her room) and I think she will find more time this summer!  Right, Lynne?

This is the card we made Sunday.  It is easy and quick but so elegant.  We used the stamp set Love & Affection on page 45 in the new catalog.  The embossing folder, Floral Affection, is on the same page.  More cards tomorrow using this same stamp set.  Stop in tomorrow to check out five or six swap cards I just received!  Susan Elise 

Magic Card Video

I ordered one package of each of the new Designer Series Papers before my Open House last weekend so that I could show everyone how pretty they are.  I have charts up on my display doors showing both sides of each piece of the paper.  It was so much fun to unpack these pretty papers and one set really caught my eye ~ FRUIT STAND DSP!  Then I saw this video and knew you would want to know how to make this MAGIC CARD ~ of course, you could use any DSP but this is a perfect fit.  I bet you are wondering what a "Magic Card" is, right?  Well take a look at the video from Stampin' Up!.  I love how it all comes together.

New Stamp Club...........

This is Anne Squicciarini, a new member of my new stamp club, and this is her first ever card!  Love when first time stampers want to show off their FIRST EVER CARD!! The stamp set, SWIRLY BIRD, is new, the stamp club is new and Anne is new.  Several of the members of the club met last year but had members move so Jenny and Gina recruited Anne and then, A FRIEND AND LONG TIME STAMPER, Denise joined us.  Since then, Cheryllynn is excited to start in July.  We have room for another club member, so if you are interested be sure and let me know.  This stamp club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 PM in the afternoon.  Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 12 ~ won't you join us?  And, it is perfectly fine if you have never stamped before ~ Anne will vouch for that!

Shaker Cards

Shaker Cards are so much fun for kids, oh, ok ~ for all of us, right?  The card above is a shaker card and one that the Stampin' Up! Team made from the JUNE PAPER PUMPKIN supplies.  Here are several other cards from a website, Paper Pumpkin Fan Club, for demonstrators to share ideas.  These cards were made by Suzanne Netz.

One of the reasons I have SHAKER CARDS on my mind is because we will be making one at my upcoming BOGO SALE on Sunday and Monday afternoons ~ June 26 and 27.  Let me know if you will be able to join us. EMAIL ME!

Oh Happy Day ~ not!

I am so frustrated because my usual email

  

isn't working for me today ~ I am not getting any emails and not able to send emails from the usual '[email protected]'.  And, I can't figure out why, nothing works.  We spent the weekend in the mountains at our cottage and got back yesterday.  Last night, everything worked.  This morning not so much.  Oh well!  It will get better and in the meantime this is a HAPPY VIDEO chosen because it is soooooooo happy ~ OH HAPPY DAY CARD KIT on page 6 in the annual catalog.  Enjoy!
