Time for a quick birthday card?

Although Alan and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday in the mountains it is always nice to return home to Tidewater ~ both areas have so much to enjoy and the contrasts are always interesting.  I know that many of you have the stamp set, Wetlands, on page 133 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog and we have all used it to share our cards, albums and projects with others.  Here is an easy card that you might want to try if you have a friend with a birthday coming up (but, you are so busy with the holidays you don't have time to make something more detailed or complicated!).  Click on the link to download the instructions.  Susan Elise

In the Bag Video

Happy Thanksgiving!  Visiting friends and family?  Here is a little video that might make visiting a little easier in the future.  We are always so busy that it's easy to forget the extras that we need.  Just create some tags and have our Gusset Bags on hand.

Pretty presents

Bea Conaway's Wreath

Wreath by Bea Conaway!  You might remember a similar picture in a Stampin' Up! catalog about a year ago.  Bea contacted me about the wreath ~ she had been saving supplies to create it herself.    Great job, Bea!  Thanks for sharing!  Don't forget to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s sale this week.........

Haroldine

Haroldine on Mother's Day 2016

Our friend, Haroldine, passed away on Thursday this week.  I wanted all of you to know because I think her enthusiasm for stamping & creating in the Cat/Art Studio affected all of us who knew her.  She was a lovely happy lady who lived life to the fullest.  Her daughter, Chris, called me on Friday afternoon and I am so thankful.  Haroldine ate breakfast and lunch at home, sat in her favorite chair and passed.  So nice to know she was in a loving space & surrounded by loving people.  I have wonderful memories and it is easy to smile, and even laugh, remembering ....
