November's PP!

My PAPER PUMPKIN box arrived yesterday in my mail box!  This video will show you how cute and fun it is this month!  As for mine, it is cottage bound so that my sister, Sarah, and I can have some fun with it!  Can't wait!

Christmas Card Class

Barbara w llama card

Barbara is holding one of the cards from our CHRISTMAS CARD CLASS last night.  This one features the stamp set, FA-LA-LA-LA FRIENDS, with the cute llama decorated with a string of Christmas lights.  Inside ~ Fa-la-la-la Llama!  you can find the set on page 30 in the Holiday Catalog.

Lynne with ornament card

Lynne is holding another card and this one uses the Merry Tags Framelits Dies on page 21.  This amazing die cuts out the ornament and the design inside!!!  We added a little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to create the snow.  And, we embossed the NOEL using NEW embossing powder ~ Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder on page 7 ~ it really sparkles!  If you are using this powder remember to heat it longer than our normal embossing process.

Rosie with card

Rosie is holding our third card, very simple and elegant.  The ribbon is tied and a Christmas Trinket Embellishment (page 27) added.  Each lovely stamper made three of each of the cards.  This has been an amazing class meeting once a month in July through last night.  I have loved seeing this group of stampers every month and now they have 45 holiday cards to send in December!  I love it!  Susan Elise

Recipe Swap Class

Recipe ~ Raisin Spice Cake

Sorry not to finish my post yesterday ~ I know you were looking forward to seeing the recipe swap cards from Monday's class.  I will post several today to give you an idea of the content of the class.  Nine stampers completed their collection of recipes which everyone contributed to a week earlier.  This recipe is for Raisin Spice Cake handed down in the family.  We added a YUMMY stamp and some Washi Tape.

Recipe ~ Baked Brie En Croute

This recipe is for BAKED BRIE EN CROUTE and includes apricot preserves, cranberries and almonds.  Yummmmm!

Recipe ~ Chocolate Lush

And, this one is for CHOCOLATE LUSH  which I had never heard of before.  It includes milk, chocolate pudding, powdered sugar and cream cheese.  Interesting.  Let me know if you would like a copy of any of these or if you would like to see the entire recipe book.  I am glad to share.  Susan Elise

Recipe Swap Party in the Cat/Art Studio

Cat in the Bag

As soon as the bag was unloaded to prepare for the party, look who jumped in and took over ~ Jupiter!  Then another bag looked interesting as the groceries were unloaded ~

Cat in the grocery bag

Cat with the party 2

Guests arrived and had to walk around the silly cat who wouldn't get out of the bag!  I don't know who had more fun at this party!

Party in the studio

Tags w cover of directions

I wanted to give you a little more information about the Tin of Tags Project Kit.  This is the cover of the directions for making the tags.

The Tin of Tags Project Kit comes with supplies to create 30 tags.  It's fun to make the tags yourself!!  Take a look at this video for some inspiration.

And, this is the inside of the instruction booklet. You will notice that the directions are pictures instead of a written list of instructions.  They are easy and quick to assemble.

Tag directions

To make the tags as they appear, you need Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Old Olive and Real Red stamp pads, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Mini Glue Dots and Dimensionals.  Your friends will enjoy this personal touch!!!  Susan Elise

Tin of Tags Project Kit

Tag Warm Wishes w box

You can find the TIN OF TAGS project kit on page 33 in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday catalog.  We used it yesterday in my STARS team meeting to create the little favors above.  The kit contains everything you need to make 30 tags and all of the supplies come in a darling red polka dot tin box ~ perfect for gifting for a favorite crafter.  There is a coordinating stamp set, Tin of Tags (#142180), that we used.  However, you can easily use stamps that you have in your collection.  We did use the stamp set yesterday ~ it is 25% off now through the end of this month!  The Kit is $22.00 and the stamp set, on sale, is $15.75.  This is a fun project ~ and, practical as everyone needs tags this time of year!  Susan Elise

Holly Berry

Holly with washi tape

Another card using the new dies and the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set.  Love this stamp set!  We used it yesterday afternoon at my CRAFTY THURSDAY CLASS.  Isn't this a fun note card?  You can find the fun Candy Cane Washi Tape on page 5 in the Holiday Catalog!

Holly Wreath

This is my first try at making a wreath with this stamp set ~ not perfect but it was much easier than I thought it would be.  If you are signed up for my upcoming CHRISTMAS IN NOVEMBER CLASS you may be seeing this card again ~ wink, wink!  STARS  meeting tomorrow morning ~ can't wait to see the members of my team of demonstrators!  Yea!

PL Hello December Video

Our Project Life product line keeps growing.  Stampin' Up! has released Hello December in the Holiday Catalog and I know you will love it.  There is always so much to scrap about during the holidays.  Take a look at this great video and see what you can get with this new set.

You can get this and any other Project Life products from my online store.

Stitched Shapes in the studio

My STITCHED SHAPES FRAMELITS DIES have been delivered and we used them last night in our stamp club.  I think I promised in my first post about this new product that I would share a picture as soon as I could.  The post was on November 2 as the dies were introduced by Stampin' Up! on November 1.  You can go back to that post to see a video that Stampin' Up! did to introduce the dies.  Here are the dies ~

And here is the Note Card we created last night to try out the new dies ~ the stamp set is HOLLY BERRY HAPPINESS on page 27 in the Holiday Catalog.

This is the stitched look created by these dies.  We used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (on page 181 in the annual catalog) to add a little touch of glitter to the bow and the holly leaves.
