Today I would like to share with you a video from Stampin' Up! showcasing more new products from the Occasions catalog. The Balloon Pop Up Thinlits dies and coordinating Balloon Adventure stamp set. They are adorable and just perfect for all your birthday project needs.

Isn't it a beautiful afternoon ~ as long as you can stay inside and watch the beautiful snow from the warmth of your home.
Three more swap cards today using the stamp set BEAUTIFUL YOU on page 24 in the Occasions catalog. The set includes three females in different poses and eight sayings for you to use. Sorry but all the swaps I received used the same pose! The other two include 'walking with an umbrella' and 'dancing'. The first & third cards use the PAPER PIECING technique stamping the image a second time on designer series paper and cutting out the clothes to 'dress' the pretty lady. Lots of possibilities with this set!
I recently participated in two swaps with demonstrator friends ~ one in Florida and one in PA. Yesterday the mailman delivered the swaps back to me ~ it is always such a treat to open the big envelopes full of new cards made by demonstrators from across the country. I will post the swaps on the blog so that you can see the variety of possibilities for the stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog and the SAB brochure. Today I am posting four cards that I received using the stamp set, Dragonfly Dreams, on page 26 in the Occasions Catalog.

Today I have been working on my newsletter so that I can send it out to you tomorrow. One of the items I featured in the newsletter is the fabulous NEW DSP in the SAB catalog!!! You will love it! Stampin' Up! put together this video showcasing the Inside the Lines Specialty Designer Series Paper (or DSP). Haven't you always wished you had a certain DSP that is the color you want it to be? One of the stamp sets in the upcoming SALE-A-BRATION catalog (available on Wednesday this week) features this little 'egg'. The set is 'Hey, Chick' on page 17 ~ it will give you a good laugh! This card embellishes the stamp to create this cute little chick ~ download the directions below.
I hope you and your family have a fabulous and amazing year! It has been a quiet day here as I definitely needed to go back to bed to try to sleep off cold symptoms that kept getting worse. This afternoon I was able to complete my thank you notes to my friends and family. I ran out of the ones I made with the stamp set, Frosted Medallions. Luckily I quickly ran into a card kit from the SALE-A-BRATION brochure (as a Demonstrator we can order a month ahead of our stamping friends ~ yea!). I finished making eight cards in about 15 minutes and went back to my thank you notes ~ so excited to have this quick and easy kit ~ just when I needed it!
This is the PRETTY POCKET CARD KIT ~ everything is included!
