Basket Bunch Sunday

From my demonstrator team....

I wanted to show you this cute card that my friends that are demonstrators and on my team presented me several weeks ago at our team meeting.  Isn't it cute?  I think it is so nice that they included Jupiter and Star (purrrrrrfect) on my card.  The card was signed by my team members congratulating me on a promotion I received recently from Stampin' Up!  And they included a nicely wrapped gift (below) ~ how nice ~ THANKS everyone!

Opps ~ watercolor 102 class ~

I thought I was going to get back to post the other two projects from my Watercolor 102 class yesterday and I never did.  Sorry ~ getting ready to have my family over to celebrate the dates of our parents birthdays ~ tomorrow.  This card uses a stamp from the HOST STAMP SET, Fabulous Flora, on page 198 in the annual catalog.  We used StazOn to stamp on the Watercolor Paper (page 175).

This stamp set is perfect to use with Watercolor Pencils.  It is REMARKABLE YOU and you can find it on page 128 in the annual catalog.  We used our Spritzer (#126185, $3.00, on page 180) to get this wash effect.  Love it!

Watercolor 102 Class

Last Sunday afternoon I had my Watercolor 102 Class and I wanted to show you the cards that we made.  The 102 class expands on the 101 basic watercolor class using Stampin' Up!'s new package of watercolor pencils.  I will be repeating both classes in April and I would love to have you join me ~ the 101 class is scheduled for Saturday morning, April 22, at ten and the 102 class is scheduled for the following Saturday ~ April 29.  Here are the cards from my 102 class last week using various easy techniques with the pencils ~

Mini Egg Cartons Update

As stated in our January 31 Weekly Update, sales for our Mini Egg Cartons (item 142776) have exceeded our forecast, resulting in the need to temporarily turn the item off. We expected to receive a shipment on Friday, March 17 so that on Monday, March 20 we could ship backorders and turn the item back on for orders. 

The factory shipped the order via air as instructed and it arrived in San Francisco last week; however, as occasionally happens, U.S. Customs held the shipment for further inspection. When we learned of this delay, we changed the Inventory Status Report estimated arrival date to March 27; however, as of this morning, the shipment is still on hold with U.S. Customs.

Customs officials rarely hold Stampin’ Up! shipments for further inspection, but this can happen at any time, for any reason, including random search, paperwork issues, etc. Since U.S. Customs works on its own timeline, we are unable to speed up the inspection process.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will update you as soon as we have more information.

Projects from the Stampin' Up! BLOG showing alternate uses for Stampin' Up's March MY PAPER PUMPKIN KIT which arrived in my mail box at the end of last week.  This cute kit will be part of my Easter Craft Drop-in Class on Sunday afternoon April 2,  I am saving my kit for friends who want to join me that afternoon from 1 to 4 in the Studio. Mini Egg Cartons

These cute Mini Egg Cartons have been on backorder FOREVER.  However, I should be able to order them on Monday, March 27.  If you are interested let me know this weekend so that I can add you to the list (Janie and Joy have been on the list for weeks)!  They will probably sell out quickly as everyone has been waiting so long.  Oh ~ they come in a natural cream color (page 18 in the Occasions Catalog) but you can spray them any color that you like.  Fill your Stampin' Spritzer (126185, page 180 in the annual catalog) about 3/4 full with Rubbing Alcohol and add drops of re-inker to get the intensity of color you want.  (Rubbing Alcohol comes in 70% and 91% ~ my preference as it evaporates more quickly.)  Spray and let them dry before adding the decorations ~ fill with Easter goodies.  Directions below ~
