Stampin' Up! Policy

As a Demonstrator we are able to get the NEW in advance and I received my 2017-2018 STAMPIN' UP! CATALOG last Friday night at an event called CENTERSTAGE.  When the event was over I immediately went to the hotel sports bar, ordered a glass of Chardonnay and went through EVERY PAGE.  So mush fun to see the NEW!

It is Stampin' Up!'s policy not to show the catalog or, even, any page in the catalog.  BUT I can show you something that I made using the products in the catalog.  (Did I mention all the gifts we received at the event in Richmond?)  I received a stamp set named This Little Piggy and, when I got home, I made this cute card.  What do you think?

Oh no! It's retirement time.........

I always feel like everyone looks forward to retirement but, when it comes to favorite stamp sets, not so much.  The list is out and you can download it now to take a look and/or mark your catalog.  Warning:  It is in a tiny little font so you may need to have your magnifying glass nearby (I must be getting terribly OLD!).  Some of the items on the list are discounted and, of course, will sell out quickly so you may want to order online to take advantage of the supply while it lasts.

I had a lovely weekend in Richmond attending Stampin' Up!'s regional meeting, ONSTAGE STAMPIN' UP!  The main 'convention type meeting' was in Amsterdam with five regional meetings in the United States, two in Canada and two in Australia.  We arrived Friday afternoon with a dinner that evening that included leadership training.  Saturday morning started early with many of my team driving up and attending a Stampin' Up! event for the first time ~ so proud to have twenty SOUTHERN STARS there with me!

The day included receiving the 2017-2018 Catalog, display boards, videos from the meeting in Amsterdam, Swaps, Prize Patrol, introduction to new products and presentations by demonstrators of those new products.  The day also included recognition for demonstrator achievements in the last six months and that is where the THANK YOU comes in because I was awarded for both sales and a promotion!  I can only thank my stamping friends for your support of my business ~ YOU are why, and how, I was able to advance by business.  Thank you for your support ~ and here I am onstage on Saturday afternoon ~

SEM OnStage

So exciting, really!  I was up there twice (by myself) and came back to my seat ~ smiling and shaking.  WOW!  I hadn't been to a Stampin' Up! event for two years and it was so nice to be back.  Now, so excited to get back to work!  Thanks again!

Marble Technique Video

This is not a new technique, but it has such different results each time.  It's a great idea to revisit the idea.  This video was created by Stampin' Up! and it also uses current colors.  What's the look you want, shades of one color family or a rainbow?  Take a look:

You can use all one color family for a great monochromatic look.  I'm always happy to answer any questions about our products or techniques.
