Happy Anniversary to me and storage...........

Have you been concerned about storing your 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper so that it is protected and organized?  Several months ago I searched for storage ideas online and found storagestudios.  I ordered one set of their 12 x 12 paper file so that I could see if it was something that I would use with my paper stash.  And, it was.  So, I thought I would pass it on to you ~ you can find it online at www.craft-e-corner.com.  It is called simply PAPER FILE, #253163 and there are three in a package with tabs and labels.  The paper in my PAPER FILE, above, is the NEW In Color Designer Series Paper.  (And, I am hearing from many of you that you have had a surprise in your mail box TODAY ~ yea!  the 2017-18 ANNUAL CATALOG HAS ARRIVED!  Thanks for letting me know.)

Class this morning..........

I loved seeing my friends this morning in the Studio ~ Lynne, Katy, Melissa, Eileen, Barbara, Abby, Marti and Meghan ~ were all here for the FRUIT STAND GIFT CARD CLASS.  We made four cards and a gift box.  Everyone's gift box turned out different for these creative ladies ~ so original and so giftable (is that a word?).  Many will be gifted very soon I am sure.  

The stamp set, FRESH FRUIT (on page 149, $27 for 24 stamps) and the Designer Series Paper, FRUIT STAND (on page 173, reduced to $8.80) are both retiring at the end of the month.  Let me know if you are interested ~ I will be ordering on Wednesday of this week.

Card Box Tutorial

I spent yesterday working out the details of the gift box for the cards in my FRUIT STAND CLASS tomorrow.  I hadn't used my ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD in awhile so I had to reorient myself.  Plus I had to do an online search because I couldn't find the directions I thought that I had when the board first came out and I had a class in using it.  I am pretty pleased with the box, above, ~ everything matches, it is sturdy and (relatively) easy to make.  I am still finalizing the DIRECTION SHEET!  I'll be glad to share when I finish it ~ just let me know if you are interested.  Can't wait until class tomorrow!

Fresh Fruit

Preparing for my Fresh Fruit Class for this coming Saturday morning ~ 4 fruit cards with envelopes and a gift box for the cards make a great gift for a friend or for YOU!  Lynn, Katy, Melissa, Eileen, Barbara, Abby and Marti ~ everyone has their own folder with all the 'class ingredients'!    We will be using the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD to make our gift box ~ haven't used it in a while so I have to reteach myself so I can teach my 'class'!

Swap Time

I received a swap yesterday.  I had sent my swap cards to Texas the last week in April.  The demonstrator who organized the swap is Jenn Gulch in Kingwood, Texas.  She receives the swap cards, swaps them out and sends them back to the participants.

I was really surprised at all the demonstrators who choose to create cards using the new DAISY PUNCH (page 206 in the new catty ~ in your mailbox soon) and the DAISY DELIGHT stamp set (it's a suite ~ Delightful Daisy Suite).  WOW!  That must be a popular set!

Do you see the Eastern Beauty card in the pile?  Here it is ~ so many ways to use this bundle that is available this month instead of waiting for June 1 to arrive!
