Soft Sayings Card Kit Class ~ cards to copy & enjoy!
Last night was such fun ~ nine stamping friends came over to create cards using the stamp set in Stampin' Up!'s new CARD KIT ~ SOFT SAYINGS on page 10 and 11 in the catalog.
Dixie and Rusty
Jan, Nancy and Geri
Barbara, Judy (my sister from Richmond) and Diane
Everyone took their kit home with them. The kit includes the stamp set and everything needed to make 20 cards. Plus, refills are available (wo the ink & stamp set)! We made four cards using the stamp set but not using the kit 'ingredients'. I will post the four cards tomorrow. OPPS! LYNNE ~ I missed getting a picture of you. So sorry!
This stamp set, A LITTLE WILD, is bundled with a set of framelits dies to easily create tags that show the front and the back of the elephant, the lion and the bear. A really cute set to help you create tags ( etc.) for the kids in your life! You can find the bundle on page 108 in your catalog. Let me know what you create!
The two cards above are swap cards, both using images from the Color Theory Suite. I know you are going to love this bundle. The color coordination (ribbon, paper & Glitter Dots) is wonderful! The Colorful Season stamp set and coordinating Framelits are bundled on page 147 in your Stampin' Up! catalog See for yourself.
If you would like to get this bundle for yourself, you can click here.
Thanks! Susan Elise
Susan Tran brought these darling stick puppets that she made to stamp club this week. Evidently her young grandson's will be riding in the car for hours on a summer trip and she thought these cute guys might help entertain them. She did want me to be sure and tell you that the inspiration came from Pinterest. Thanks, Susan!
I bet you are not the least bit surprised to find that this is one of my FAVORITE stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog! Right? This card includes the images from the stamp set, CRAFTING FOREVER, along with the new Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack. PRINT OUT the directions, BELOW, and make the card yourself ~ happy stamping!
This embossing folder is LAYERED LEAVES and you can find it on page 211 in Stampin' Up!'s new catalog. Because it is extra thick and creates a deep impression you make your 'sandwich' differently than with the other embossing folders. You spritz the cardstock on both sides and use only one of the cutting pads. Here is Donna to tell you a little more about it....
I did not create the center focal point of the card. I used a preprinted card from our MEMORIES & MORE Card Pack. The information about these super little packs (inexpensive too) starts on page 190. The card I used is from the COLOR THEORY MEMORIES & MORE CARD PACK. The pack contains 72 double sided cards, sticker sheets and 4 printed acetate cards. What a deal!!! Call me if you'd like more information. Susan Elise
I recently subscribed to this magazine which bills itself as 'The UK's No. 1 cardmaking magazine'. It is an interesting magazine and in the April issue I was surprised to find an article and an AWARD ~ Brand & Retailer of the Year ~ about STAMPIN' UP!
The article starts off 'Winning first place in both the Brand of the Year and Retailer of the Year categories, Stampin' Up1 is a 2017 favourite for cardmakers!' and continues ~ 'There's a wide range of both original collections and crafting basics available, along with numerous ways to buy. Crafters can order directly in 10 different countries, or they can also purchase their crafty supplies from one of Stampin' Up!'s team of approximately 45,000 demonstrators around the world ~ or even become demonstrators themselves!' YEA STAMPIN' UP!
