Back to the holidays........

We all love to get tips and tricks to use with Stampin' Up! products and tools.   I know I do ~ that's what the trip to Salt Lake City was all about!  Check out this video with Holly and learn some new ideas for your Trim Your Stocking Thinlits.

The Thinlits are available in the Holiday Catalog and coordinate a bit with the Tags and Trimmings stamp set.  The stockings are a fun gift for school or co-workers.  You can use your imagination to fill the pillow box with holiday goodies.  No problem, right?

Sneak Peak...

The Occasions Catalog will arrive in your mailbox in December sometime (I am never sure when so let me know when yours arrives).  In addition, at the same time, your mailperson will be delivering your Sale-A-Bration brochure (Free Stuff)!

I thought I would give you a preview of a new stamp set, Flying Home.  It was a gift at the OnStage meeting in Salt Lake City.  For some reason I can't seem to put my new BLENDS down and, in addition, bird stamps seem to be a great way to 'practice'!

Cheery Chirps

My cards

Cards I made using the stamp set, Cheery Chirps, on page 41 in the Holiday Catalog.  I started them last weekend when I had a studio full of stampers making 2018 calendars.  I wanted to use the new BLENDS with this stamp set and I do like the way they turned out.  The stamp set is pictured below ~ it doesn't have sayings or greetings so you could really use it at any time.  I haven't finished the card with the largest bird yet ~ I'll post it when I do.  This is a great set to use with the new alcohol markers as they color so smoothly blending perfectly!  You can click on any of the product pictures below to go directly to my online store ~ remember that the ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA ends on the 26th!!!  It's a great sale!

So thankful............

I was part of two different swaps when I attended OnStage in Salt Lake City recently.  The 'theme' of one of the swaps was thank you cards so I thought I would share some of the cards with you today as we all prepare to say thanks tomorrow.  What a wonderful holiday ~ just friends, family and food and the many reminders of the reasons we have to be thankful.  I am thankful for the opportunity to share with you on my blog and for our interest in that special process that creates 'handmade'.   Blessings to you, your family & friends.

November Paper Pumpkin Kit

Stockings hung by the chimney with care ~ that's what you will find in your Paper Pumpkin Box this month.  And, did you know that there is a PAPER PUMPKIN FAN CLUB on FACEBOOK that you can join if you want alternative ideas for your kits?  You will find some very creative ideas each month ~ creative contributions from demonstrators and from non-demonstrators ~ it is a great way to share!!!

Here is a picture that I found this morning on the Fan Club page.  The picture, and the great idea, was contributed by Arlene Dunham who sprayed the stockings with hairspray and ran them through the Big Shot with the Cable Knit embossing folder!  What a great idea!

Hearts Come Home

Gift from Martha

This is a gift from my upline (the demonstrator that I joined under so many years ago), Martha Armstrong, at the OnStage meeting in Salt Lake City last week.  She bought it at a craft fair for her group of demonstrators who attended the event.  I wanted to share it with you ~ it's a great idea for a lovely holiday gift.  It is made using the Hearts Come Home Bundle on page 39 in the Holiday Catalog.  The Bundle includes the stamp set, Hearts Come Home, and the Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies.  The scene is created in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (page 194) with a background of Night of Navy cardstock.  The three layers are separated with the Foam Adhesive Strips on page 203.  Martha said that the plastic spheres are available on Michael's .  There is a little 'berry' tied at the side.  Pretty gift, don't you think?
