Snow & Sunshine OR Sunshine & Rainbows

What a weather day!  It reminded me of a bundle in the Occasions Catalog (page 33).  This is a fun bundle and I think you will love it.  My friend, Lynne Galewski, made a wonderful card using this stamp set ~ it is below.

This is Lynn's card.  She is a member of my team, Southern Stars, and she shared this at our recent swap.  If you love to stamp and want to save money the very best way is to join Stampin' Up! ~ we save 20% with every order!  And, during SALE-A-BRATION you choose two additional FREE stamp sets (any set YOU want) ~ with your standard starter kit ($99 for$125 in products).  Let me know if you have questions!

Weekend stamp-a-stack & next class..

Waterfront

This is one of the cards that we made at my STAMP-A-STACK class on Saturday.  It was a small class but loads of fun with two new stampers ~ my friend, Barbara, and her daughter, Meghan.  This card uses the WATERFRONT stamp set in the Occasions Catalog, page 48.  This is a very popular stamp set and the scenes on the cards are amazing ~ check out my Occasions Catalog Board on PINTEREST!

Oh So Eclectic

This was the most advanced card at my class, one that Barbara and Meghan decided to pass on as new stampers.  I will put one in the mail to them!  This is from the NATURALLY ECLECTIC SUITE on page 133 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.  The BUNDLE includes the stamp set and the dies.  The suite also includes beautiful Designer Series Paper!

Layering Love

And, one Valentine completed the class.  We used the LAYERING LOVE stamp set from the annual catalog, page 46.  The lovely words are enhanced by the Painted with Love Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Catalog.  My next class is on Saturday, February 3, at ten ~ all Valentines all the time!  JOIN ME so you'll have several handmade cards to put in the mail to friends ~ the 14th is two weeks away!

Lots of Happy Card Kit

If you were able to come to my Open House last Sunday afternoon you will remember creating cards with this awesome kit!   This video will provide information on the kit from the Occasions catalog  on page 15.  All of us need to keep cards on hand and this kit makes it easy!  (And, another nice feature is that you can get a refill for the kit!)  Way to go SU!

You can find the HAPPIEST OF DAYS stamp set on page 70 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.  I am spending this afternoon planning my Stamp-a-Stack Class for Saturday morning ~ birthday, sympathy and Valentine cards.  We are not going to make this card but I wanted to share it with you ~ along with the PROJECT SHEET so that you could make it if you are interested.  I think it is lovely!

Brusho Class and Valentine stats...........

Red brusho w Valentine quote

This picture shows a Brusho Resist technique much like the Crayon Resist technique that we learned about yesterday at the Open House in the Cat/Art Studio!  My January Brusho Class will be on Tuesday, January 30 ~ hope to see you then!  And, I am having a Valentine Making Class the first Saturday in February ~ join me.  Here are some interesting facts about Valentine's Day ~ particularly interesting is the fact that women send themselves flowers on Valentine's Day (may have to try that ~ or, at least a card!).  I think we need an additional stat about 'handmade' Valentines ~ any suggestions?

Messy but it serves a purpose....

This is really messy (I did it very quickly) but it does serve a purpose so I thought I would share it with you.  I got tired of getting lost in the Occasions Catalog (and, before that, in the Holiday Catalog) and having to take the time to go through multiple pages to find that particular item (stamp set, embellishment, suite, etc.) that I needed at the moment.  I use the INDEX in the Annual Catalog all the time BUT there is no index in the Occasions ~ so I made my own on the back cover.  It isn't pretty but it does save me time!  Try it!
