Saying goodbye...or, not...

Wizard Magical Day 1

This is one of the projects that we made in all of my stamp clubs this month.  The stamp set and dies are bundled on page 36 and 37 in  Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog.  I just love the images in this stamp set and the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper that it coordinates with.  It is soooo much FUN and ~ it is RETIRING!!!!  I was really surprised that this set was on the LIST and sad too because it has only been available since the beginning of 2018!  Much too soon to retire, don't you think????

The project sheet is below ~ in case you like this card.  I am thinking that I will be keeping this bundle for a long time ~ this wizard and his friends aren't retiring from the Cat/Art Studio!

Retiring Designer Series Paper & upcoming class.....

Retiring DSP

This gorgeous BUNDLE is carrying over to the new catalog in June.  The stamp set, Petal Palette, and the dies will be continued but, unfortunately, the Designer Series Paper is not.  (The only DSP in the catalog that is returning is the Wood Textures DSP Stack on page 187.)

The Petal Palette Bundle (page 23, Occasions Catalog) is perfect for any occasion ~ this time of year it lends itself to Spring and to Mother's Day.  If you are interested in making handmade cards my 'Thinking of You' card class is Thursday afternoon/evening, April 26, in the Cat/Art Studio.  We will be making 6 cards, 2 each of 3 designs.  EMAIL ME NOW.

Skunk with stamp set

HEDGEHUGS stamp set is on page 35 in our Occasions Catalog.  I made this card for a swap at our team meeting yesterday.  (The card includes a new product from the new catalog ~ can you find it?) I will be sharing the other swap cards with you this week.  I have such a great team of demonstrators ~ a very talented group of ladies!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will enjoy our swap cards!

Share What You Love available May 1

Oh my goodness!  I just opened my box that UPS delivered yesterday!  The box is my first order from Stampin' Up! with products from the new catalog (demonstrators can order early so that we can prepare some samples for you ~ besides it is so hard to wait!).  I ordered the SHARE WHAT YOU LOVE SUITE that I have been talking about in stamp clubs this week (you can order it beginning on May 1).  It includes all NEW products that Stampin' Up! is bringing out a month early for all of us (they did something similar last year with the Eastern Elegance suite, remember?).  Brandi will tell you all about it in the video, below.  But ~ wanted to tell you what my 'Oh my goodness' was about ~ the designer series paper in the suite is fantastic!!!  More to come!

Time for the Retirement Lists

We all look forward to Stampin' Up!'s Retirement Lists, but when they arrive it is a little sad.  We don't want to say goodbye to some of the products we love and at the same time, can't wait to see the new products Stampin Up! has in store for us in June.  The lists are here!!!  Just make sure to get your favorite items before they are gone.  The accessories are only around while supplies last but you will be able to purchase the stamp sets through the end of May.

This years lists are out and you can download them below.  If you are coming to Stamp Club this month be sure to print off the lists so we can highlight your catalog together.  You can also visit my ONLINE STORE and see all the lists.

Jellyfish Bridge

This is a short bridge at Norfolk Botanical Garden featuring just one of the many displays created by Chinese artisans for Lantern Asia.  The lighted silk forms represent JELLYFISH.  The artists have created displays reflecting our area this year.  Two years ago the displays were more generic but with the commitment to return the displays were developed to fit our home.  The 2018 Coastal Themes include whales, jellyfish, fish & frogs ~ all created in beautifully colored silk.  And, don't miss the VENUS FLYTRAP display inspired by the Garden's collection!

Bermuda Bay

Bermuda Bay card with one birdhouse

This Bermuda Bay background just makes this card stand out ~ love the colors!  This is the time of year that we start to worry a little about the colors in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.  Color changes seem to happen when the RETIRING LIST comes out (April 9) and as the new catalog is being introduced (the demonstrators in Atlanta at OnStage will have the new catalog this weekend).  I haven't heard anything yet (and, probably would be sworn to secrecy if I were at OnStage) ~ but, I am sure that we will all know soon!  Happy Friday!
