Class BasketsThis picture was taken on Friday evening as I was preparing for the first CALENDAR GIFT CLASS of the season.  Today was a busy day with eleven stampers making calendars ~ anywhere from one each to six gift calendars!  I loved having Janet, Christy, Barb, Mary, Joy, Katy, Rori, Diana, Aida, Wanda and Marion in the Cat/Art Studio today.  Thanks for coming and enjoy those calendars!

Tin Tile Dynamic Folder Video

Yesterday I mentioned one of my favorite restaurants, Market at Main, and the fabulous renovation that makes it so special.  Including the tin tile ceiling.  More information today ~ about Stampin' Up!'s new Embossing Folder from the Holiday Catalog.  Take a look at the Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder.  Natalie from Stampin' Up! has a few ways you can use the folder to create some beautiful designs.

Take a look:

The Holiday Catalog has so much to offer.  You can download it below.

Market At Main

Yesterday, Alan and I ate breakfast at MARKET AT MAIN in Lynchburg (904 Main Street).  We've eaten there occasionally for several years and it is always a treat!  My breakfast consisted of poached eggs, fried green tomatoes and cheese grits!  Yummmm ~ definitely don't get that at home.  But, what is fun is the atmosphere created by renovating two long time businesses on the main street of the business district.  The restaurant is large with a long lunch counter, and open cooking area and everything old timey!  Including the ceiling ~ when the 'false' ceilings were removed the original ceiling was repainted and is beautiful ~ decorative tin tiles from the late 1800's.  Just like the TIN TILE DYNAMIC TEXTURED IMPRESSIONS EMBOSSING FOLDER on page 43 in the Holiday Catalog.  I know you will love using it ~ I did ~

Blog post 9-26

I used the Country Home stamp set and Galvanized Metallic Paper, both on page 43.  You will also find Country Lane DSP ~ purrrrrrfect for Fall ~ thanks for stopping by!  Susan Elise

Toil & Trouble

Witch w Buffalo background

Halloween card from our STAMP CLUB this month.  You can find the suite ~ TOIL & TROUBLE ~ on page 49 in the Holiday Catalog.  The check background is one stamp ~ BUFFALO CHECK ~ on page 38.  I have stamped it in as many as ten colors and love it every time I stamp it ~ a great background, don't you think?  It is easiest to use if you have the checks facing you and ink it up with your stamp pad.  Place your cardstock on top of the ink, cover it with a piece of scrap paper and smooth with your hands to transfer the ink.  It is so much easier to use that way!  The ribbon, Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon, is sparkly and adds so much to any of our craft projects.  You can click on the picture of the ribbon below to go to my online store if you are interested in having a spool of your own (10 yards).

Trifold Witch CardThis card is a trifold card using the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper (5 1/4" x 12").  The witch can be die cut from the DSP or by stamping the image ~ you can have as many witches as you want!  No problem.

Halloween Cards

Stampin' Up!'s HOLIDAY CATALOG includes Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I thought I would share some Halloween cards with you starting with a cute stamp set called, of course, TRICK OR TWEET.
