Our PROJECT SHEET this week uses the stamp set, FLOURISH FILIGREE, a beautiful stamp set that you can find on page 41 in the HOLIDAY CATALOG.  The card also uses the TAILORED TAG PUNCH, Berry Burst 3/8"  MINI RUFFLED RIBBON and CHAMPAGNE MIST SHIMMER PAINT!  Of course, this card would be pretty in any color!  Try it!

STAMPIN' UP! has updated their CLEARANCE RACK this morning and added products.  One of the products they added is FAST FUSE.  Fast Fuse was an adhesive in last year's catalog.  I used it because it was similar to our SNAIL adhesive but stronger.  You might remember me saying that it was a little tricky when I first used it ~ the 'learning curve' a little longer than with SNAIL.  Stampin' Up! discontinued it when the 2018 -19 annual catalog was introduced.  They have brought it back on a temporary basis because the manufacturer had an excess.  The price has been reduced also ~ Fast Fuse has been reduced from $10 to $6 and the refill has been reduced from $7.50 to $3.50.  It might be a good time to try it out.

There is a LINK to my CLEARANCE RACK at the top of my blog ~ just click on the link and go directly to see the variety of DSP, dies, ribbons, refills and punches.  You'll even find Wild Wasabi!  Have a lovely Monday!  Susan Elise

Winter Woods Video

Trees can be some of the most beautiful things about winter.  Close your eyes and picture the fresh white snow on all the trees and think about what an amazing scene it makes.  You can create that with the Winter Woods stamp set. Take a look at the video below, you will love ALL of the samples Tanner has to show us!  This is such a versatile Bundle ~ page 27 in the Holiday Catalog.

I know this will become one of your favorite all time stamp sets!  Share your creations using this bundle with me to get a gift certificate from the cats in the CAT/ART STUDIO!

Collecting Cards...

One of my STARS team members, Marti Jones, is collecting our cards to send to the NAVY DESTROYER ~ USS JASON DUNHAM.  These cards will be used by the sailors to send back to their families in the states.  The first box of cards will be sent on October 1.  She would like to have holiday cards, thinking of you (miss you), and birthday cards.  She needs to collect the cards by September 30.  You can bring the cards to me if you would like, I will make sure that Marti gets them by the 30th.  EMAIL ME if you have cards to share.  I have lots to share!  Thanks so much!

Country Lane

You are going to love the embossing folder in this suite, COUNTRY LANE.  You can find it on page 43 in the Holiday Catalog.  It is one of the 'heavy duty' embossing folders which is treated a little differently than usual.  For one thing, to get a really deep impression, you need to lightly spray your cardstock with water.  That loosens up the fibers of the paper to allow a deeper impression.  The title of the folder is TIN TILE and I think you will know why it is aptly titled when you check out Stampin' Up!'s video below.

Sorry, busy weekend..........

I always feel bad when I miss a couple of days posting to my blog ~ like I did the last couple of days.  The time has been dedicated to Stampin' Up! and my team, Southern Stars.  A staff person, Tanner Smedley, invited himself over to meet my team ~ he is in a new position at Stampin' Up! (rather like a district manager of this region) and wanted to meet demonstrators in this area.  He was delightful and 18 of my team came to meet him Friday evening at six!

Supplies unpacked

He sent Stampin' Up! supplies for us to use when we got together.

Page 32 Holiday CattyThe supplies were for us to make the tags in the cute kit, SINCERELY SANTA PROJECT KIT, on page 32 in the HOLIDAY CATALOG.  Below, the studio is ready!

Finished tags and the cute tin that holds the kit!  The following day was my monthly TEAM MEETING.  One of my team, Denise Caudron, is a Professional Organizer besides being a Mom and a Demonstrator.  At our meeting on Saturday afternoon she presented information that we all needed ~ the title of her presentation was 'Organizing your Sacred Creative Space'.  She had so many great tips!!!!  I am thinking of asking her to present to my stamping friends this fall sometime.  You would love the information ~ and, Denise!  Thanks, Tanner, loved having you!  Do come back ~ you are always welcome!  Susan Elise
