Million Bulb Walk

Don't miss this!  You will love the Dominion Energy Garden of Lights at Norfolk Botanical Garden!  I went last night with a friend and we had a great walk.  Yes, it was cold last night (so we layered and I bought a knit headband in the Gift Shop to add warmth!) but it was also beautifully clear and crisp!  We go every year and every year it just gets better and better ~ more lights, more music and more displays.  Don't miss it!

Project Sheet Tuesday

This is another of the cards we created in class last Saturday.  Do you like the combination of Real Red and Mint Macaron?   We used the Snowfall Thinlits Dies from the NOVEMBER Snowflake Showcase to create the beautiful snowflake.  Remember there are only THREE more days that the SHOWCASE will be available before it is discontinued (November 30) by Stampin' Up!   You can print the directions for this card below ~

It is all about the trees....

This was one of the cards that we made at my Holiday Card Class last Saturday morning and this is a great follow up on the video I posted previously.  Did you like it?  There are so many ways to use this stamp set ~ all year long ~ not just during our wonderful holidays!  The larger tree (behind the lighter green tree) is Silver Glimmer Paper (#146960, page 192 AC).  Lighter green tree ~ what green is that?????   It is a new color this year.  You will find it in the SUBTLES COLLECTION ~ SOFT SEA FOAM ~ I even love the title.  And, I think you will LOVE the color.  Here is another tree from that stamp set ~ inside the card.

It's All About the Trees

Trees can be some of the most beautiful things about winter.  Close your eyes and picture the fresh white snow on all the trees and think about what an amazing scene it makes.  You can create that with the Winter Woods Bundle. Take a look at the video below, you will love ALL of the samples Tanner has to show us!  You can find the bundle on page 27 in the Holiday Catalog ~ I love the way he coordinates these trees with other stamp sets in the annual catalog!
