Marti also reminded me that I hadn't let you know about a new brush that makes 'sponging' color onto cardstock very easy. Traditionally I would use SPONGE DAUBERS (#133733, page 181 in the annual catalog) to add ink over a mask like the one above but I found a new brush being used on a video and decided to try it. It is a BEAUTIQUE Oval Brush and I ordered it on Amazon also. It is a make-up brush and comes in a variety of sizes. I don't know who 'discovered' that it is a great art tool but it makes 'sponging' easy and quick. I was using the BASIC PATTERN DECORATIVE MASKS on page 35 in the Holiday Catalog and DELICATA METALLIC INK (page 16, Holiday Catalog) to add a design to the tops of my coffins. This soft oval brush is just right for the job! Try it!
