The picture below is from the SALE-A-BRATION BROCHURE which you should have received in the mail in the last week. It shows samples of the beautiful LILY IMPRESSIONS DSP on page 6. Let me know if you haven't received your brochure. Also, I received the Spring Catalog on Saturday so that should be in your mail box today or you should have already received it ~ please let me know if you haven't so that I can get one to you. Lots to look at so enjoy with a cup of tea and a Christmas cookie ~ you do have some left, right?
We have a very short time to take advantage of the stamp sets and creative supplies in the HOLIDAY CATALOG. I thought I would show you cards I created using (what turned out to be) a favorite stamps set ~ one that I will keep for a long time. The STILL SCENES BUNDLE is on page 43 in the catty and here is the set and my samples.
The last card is a swap card and uses a Window Sheet (142314, page 169 A) instead of the Snow Globe Shaker Domes (150442, page 43 H) that I used on all the other cards. I like the result using both. However, if you are interested in the Domes, let me know today as I will be placing my last order for the Holiday Catalog and I don't know if the Domes will be carried over. I really hope you like the cards. And, I want to thank all of you who sent me beautiful Christmas cards ~ I am so touched by these wonderful cards. And, again, I apologize for not sending out any cards this Christmas. I feel terrible but it just didn't happen! I am trying to catch up with myself!!!! Call, email or text to be included in my final order. Hugs, se
Such a clever response from my friend, Diane, that I thought I would share it with you ~ hope you don't mind, Diane...........(the winner by the way ~ Kingston Trio!)...........
Hi Susan Elise
I’m probably too late for the answer to the MTA. I am so glad to hear
From you. So sorry you got the “ crud “ for Christmas. I was getting
worried. It’s not like you to keep your adventure from us.
My biggest fear was you took a photo of something at the white house
you shouldn’t have and got arrested…………… not.
Anyway…………. Glad you got the extra nickel to pay to get off the train.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the friends of the CAT/ART STUDIO. I feel so bad that I haven't kept up with my blog since before I traveled to DC the middle of the month. You probably wonder if I got on that train and never got off (do you remember the song lyrics from years ago ~ "did he ever return? No, he never returned and his fate is still unlearned...." Any one have any idea who that was? PRIZE for the answer...) My trip was fabulous (pictures coming) and then Christmas with my family was fabulous and, then, I got a cold, cough and lost my voice for 3 - 4 days! Again, sorry. Missed you. Merry Christmas! SE
So excited! I am leaving this afternoon to take the train to Washington with my friend, Saundra. We are staying at the Renaissance Washington in downtown, attending The Andrea Bocelli Concert on Sunday evening and visiting the White House on Monday morning!!! Then we catch the Amtrack train back at 2:30 Monday afternoon. So excited to have this ~ my Christmas present to me. Merry Christmas!
Kelly came to Stamp Club on Tuesday evening and brought cards she created to show everyone ~ and, they are lovely! She used the FEELS LIKE FROST SUITE on page 40 in the Holiday Catalog. The Bundle includes the Frosted Foliage stamp set and the Frosted Frames dies and is perfect for WINTER not just the holidays!
Love this card. Kelly included the deer from the NATURE'S BEAUTY stamp set (page 63, Holiday Catalog). She embossed the image on vellum and adhered it under the designer series paper, FEELS LIKE FROST. So pretty. She used this 6" x 6" DSP on all of her cards ~ it projects a wonderful winter feel ~ you can almost feel the snow on your face. Thanks for sharing, Kelly!
This is a one day special from Stampin' Up! to all of us as we go into the Christmas Season ~ I guess, it is a little present from headquarters. Let's take advantage of it ~ let me know if you have questions.
I think this might be my PLAIDWEEK! Everything I am attracted to seems to be PLAID ~ love the simplicity of this card. Hope you do too!
It is always a pleasure to open the mail box and see an envelope addressed to me personally (instead of 'occupant'! And, especially if the envelope might contain a beautiful handmade card ~ what a treat! Last week I received two cards that I want to share with you ~ definitely inspiration! The first one is from Nancy Clagett ~ she used the Daisy Lane stamp set on page 23 in the annual catalog and the Detailed Bands dies on page 192. Beautiful!
This card was sent to me by Claire Cason, a creative friend in Suffolk, who used the beautiful FEELS LIKE FROST SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. She always sends extra special cards. So, thank you both for bring JOY to my mailbox last week!
