Stampin' Up!'s BOHO INDIGO

Swap card 1My July Newsletter Update went out to all of you on my newsletter list on Sunday evening this week (I hope you got it, if not, please let me know!) and one of the topics that I discussed was Stampin' Up!'s Kits.  There are several different kinds ~ this one is called a PRODUCT MEDLEY.  Why?  Because it includes stamps, paper, dies, and accessories for creating whatever you want!  The beautiful cards in this post are from a recent swap that I participated in with demonstrators who also served on Stampin' Up!'s advisory board years ago!  You can find this BOHO INDIGO KIT on page 9 in the annual catalog to learn the details about all of the accessories that come in the kit (there is even a REFILL KIT available!).  Stampin' Up! does have kits for beginning stampers but this one is designed for someone who has been creating with stamps and paper for awhile.  Enjoy your creativity ~ share your creations ~ I would love to see them and to share what you create!

Happy Mail.............

I received this beautiful card in the mail yesterday from Katy Bryant.  It reminds me of the cards that I posted yesterday, the ones from the Boho Indigo Product Medley.  It isn't but an original Katy Card.  Thank you ~ love getting happy mail!

July Paper Pumpkin ~ leave a comment!

What do you love most about summer nights?  Is it the lantern-lit parties on the patio?  Maybe it's a sunset Ferris wheel ride at your local fair.  Or, is it watching fireworks and fireflies light up the sky?  Whatever makes you happiest during those treasured summer nights, the Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit will inspire you to recreate and celebrate every magical moment!

In this month's mesmerizing kit, you'll find an assortment of supplies you can use to decorate nine postcards, coordinating envelopes, and tealight bags.  But, the magic of Summer Nights doesn't end there ~ you can order an Add-On Kit with an additional 24 card bases & envelopes to use the remaining pieces from your Summer Nights kit to create more summer crafts.

And, I am giving my kit away to a lucky stamper just for commenting on my post today.  That's right, the whole kit is yours just for a comment about your summer favorites!  Comment below and, on Friday this week, I will let Alan choose ~ draw from a 'hat' so to speak.  You will love this kit and your summer memories it brings.  So, leave me a comment before Friday at 6 PM!

Tuesday Update from Stampin' Up!

Since many of you have your new August-December 2020 Mini Catalog in hand I thought I would share the following information from Stampin' Up! in the Tuesday Update ~

PRODUCTS SELLING ABOVE FORECAST

There is always a risk of products going into backorder during a demonstrator preorder or within the first few weeks after the customer launch. We do our best to forecast how you or your customers may react to new products, but sometimes we sell through our inventory much more quickly than we expect.

The following products are currently outperforming their initial forecast and are at risk of going into backorder or not orderable status before we receive additional inventory:

  • 153548: Snowflake Splendor 1/4" (6.4 mm) Ribbon
  • 153547: Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems
  • 153553: Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack
  • 153554: 3/8" (1 cm) Embroidered Ribbon
  • 153493: Mini Coffee Cups
  • 153527: Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper
  • 153508: Mini Coffee Carrier

This information may create an even higher demand on many of these items, but we feel it’s better to let you know now so you can adapt your plans.

HAVE A HOOT ~ CASED

Yesterday I introduced the cover of the new MINI CATALOG & posted a card I had made with the stamp set, HAVE A HOOT.  Today I have another card to show you using the same set.  This card is CASED directly from the new Mini ~ on page 62 ~ you can see part of the page below and I know you can find the card I cased.  This stamp set is BUNDLED with a set of dies that includes the 'window' die that I used to cut the spaces where the owls sit in this card.  What do you think???  Cute idea or too  busy????

So, two things ~ we can NEVER run out of ideas!  And, your catalogs are on the way as my To Do List included getting those new mini's in the mail to you today.  So, if you don't receive yours or if you are new to the Cat/Art Studio let me know ~ I will mail your new mini immediately!

HAVE A HOOT ~ SO CUTE!

This is the cover of the new MINI CATALOG that will give all of us some great ideas from now until the end of December!  And, it is coming your way soon!  I made the decision to send my catalogs out myself ~ I wanted to try it and see if this would be a good way to get them to you.  My order arrived yesterday and, fortunately or unfortunately, I over ordered!  Oh my!

This is the August ~ December 2020 Mini Catalog, Handmade for You, and includes beautiful Fall colors for Thanksgiving, spooky spiders for Halloween, a Polar Bear on ice skates for Winter, gorgeous snowflakes in shades of Balmy Blue and Highland Heather for the holidays and even some hearts for Valentine's Day.  Check below for my cute owl card using the HAVE A HOOT stamp set on page 62.

My goal is to send the catalogs out by the beginning of next week or sooner.  Hopefully USPS will cooperate and deliver them quickly (last week we didn't get any mail for 4 days!).  If you want your mini catalog more quickly, just give me a call (757-641-9354) and stop by and pick one up in the Cat/Art Studio ~ 2758 Murray Avenue, Norfolk.

BLOSSOMS IN BLOOM CARD CLASS

SATURDAY, JULY 25, 2 PM

CAT/ART CRAFT STUDIO

We will use the Blossoms and Bloom Bundle to create three cards and one pretty little gift box.  Enjoy an afternoon of stamping and relaxing with friends.  The studio is large enough to social distance and you can certainly wear your mask.  Let me know if you are interested in attending on Saturday or if you would prefer a virtual event ~ we can do that if you have the bundle!
