Project Sheet Tuesday

There are three sentiments in this stamp set, Bloom & Grow, this card shows you the second of three and the third one is 'let's celebrate you' ~ this is a stamp set that can be used for lots of different occasions!  The sentiment is embossed with Whisper White embossing powder.  The cardstock layer is one of this year's in-colors ~ Cinnamon Cider ~ perfect for the Fall weather that we are expecting at the end of the week.  Are you ready?

Beautiful Autumn Card Class

The lovely stampers in my Sunday afternoon class were all prepared to use the Stampin' Up! Blends on one of their cards in our class.  And, they did a good job!  I hope they enjoyed it (I know not everyone enjoys 'coloring' as much as I do ~ I just find it relaxing...)!  Here is the card that we created using the Blends ~

Blending with Stampin' Up!

Tomorrow in my BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN CARD CLASS we will be using Stampin' Up! Blends for one of the cards (I will post it for you on Sunday).  Stampin' Up! has had Blends (alcohol based markers) for several years and they are wonderful because they create a very smooth overall color on your image.  There are two in a package ~ one dark and one light ~ and each blend has a tiny line end and a brush end for application.  Always use Memento Ink when you color with Blends as this prevents bleeding.  And, keep the lid on so that the alcohol does not evaporate.  It is also wise to purchase the COLOR LIFTER with the Blends.  This tool removes color if you are outside of the lines of your image and you can use it to create highlights and shading.  The video below is an excellent one from Stampin' Up! ~ it is all about techniques of using blends ~ you'll love it! Christmas Craft Class for you!

Oh no, it can't be!  Yes, it can.  My first (in a series) of Christmas Card Classes was yesterday afternoon and Danielle, Cyndi, Cynise, Julie and Dixie joined me to make the cards pictured below.  We used three different BUNDLES from the Mini catalog ~ HAVE A HOOT (on page 62), SNOWFLAKE WISHES (on page 38) and COMING HOME (on page 26).

I will be repeating this class on TUESDAY EVENING this week and have room in my class for two more stampers.  The class is at six on the 22nd in the Studio.  I am limiting my classes to six stampers so that everyone will be comfortable and enjoy the evening together.  If you can join us, text me at 757-461-9354 today or tomorrow before 6 PM so that I can prepare all of your stamping supplies for you.  The class is $25 or $10 with an order in class of $25.
