Valentine card class ~ Saturday this week....

This is one of the cards that we made at our Valentine Class on Saturday.  Wanda, Sharon, Dixie and Rusty enjoyed visiting with each other and creating Valentines for friends.  You can find this lovely paper, LOVE YOU ALWAYS SPECIALTY DSP, on page 11 in the January - June Mini Catalog.  The package contains 12 sheets of paper ~ 4 each of 3 different designs ~ two of them on this card.  Also, on the card ~ the heart is cut from Foil Sheets on the same page.  The package contains 6 sheets of foil, 2 each of 3 colors ~ all purrfect for Valentines.   Next Saturday ~ more Valentines ~ join me for class at 10 AM or 1 PM in the Cat/Art Studio.  This casual class is just $10 ~ or, free if you order $25 or more during the class.  EMAIL ME NOW!

Stampin' Up! Valentine Card Class

STAR says ~ BE MY VALENTINE ~

Yesterday afternoon was my first of several classes to make Valentines.  I am sure not too many of my crafty friends send Valentines but I can't tell you how nice it is to open your mail box to something other than advertisements and bills!  Right?  From ANNIE'S MAILBOX ADVICE COLUMN recently ~

Dear Annie:  My young adult daughter recently had a milestone birthday, so I asked friends and family to send a birthday card to her.  She received many cards.  I was very grateful to the people who sent them.

    She sent every one of the people she received a card from a thank you note, saying how much the card meant to her.  I feel like I raised my daughter right, with good manners.

    So, just wanted to say:  Send a card to someone you love.  They will truly appreciate it.  And if you receive a card, tell them thank you for thinking of you.  Let's support each other.  Mom

Dear Mom:  I love the idea of brightening someone's day with a card.  No act of kindness, no matter how small, is wasted.

Hello Dear Friend

There's a kit on page 6 in the Mini Catalog that I have been working on and I wanted to show you.  It is the Hello Dear Friend all-inclusive kit that you see below.  The reason I wanted to create the cards this week was because I had two additional kits to send away for birthday gifts ~ one for my sister, Judy, in Richmond and one for my best friend from college, Linda, who lives in Cleveland.  They have the same birthday ~ January 22.

All inclusive?  Yes, EVERYTHING is included ~ the stamps, the ink, the adhesive, the cards and printed punch outs in Crushed Curry, Highland Heather, Melon Mambo, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive and Shaded Spruce.  It is an easy peasy kit with five sentiments to use as you like!  I hope Judy and Linda will enjoy making, and sending, these cards ~ they are happy cards that would make anyone feel good!

Stampin' Up! Basic White

BASIC WHITE PRODUCTS are replacing Whisper White in the Stampin' Up! line due to a problem with the manufacturer.  We can no longer order any of the Whisper White products as everything as been transferred to the new Basic White.  I still have Whisper White products because I keep a stock so that I don't run out.  As soon as I receive my new order I will let you know how the two contrast.  I have heard some positive comments so don't worry about the change, ok?  The new order numbers are below...

Project Sheet Tuesday

Stampin' Up!'s Love You Always Suite plus MORE....

You can find this Suite on page 11 in the MINI catty ~ so much to love!  My team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators met via ZOOM on Saturday afternoon to share stamping ideas and stamped projects.  Such a great group of stampers!!!  We 'meet' once a month and would love to have you join us!  But, more about this fabulous suite ~ 

                                                                

I presented a project that I had worked on Friday afternoon with my friend, Lynne.  I used the Love You Always Treat Boxes, # 4 on the right hand side of page 11.  Below is a picture of my project ~ purrrrfect for a Valentine gift, don't you think?  I used the designer series paper to cover the box in black with white polka dots and the coordinating paper ~ Specialty DSP for the heart.  The stamp set is bundled with a set of dies.  The frilly heart die is part of that set ~ look on page 12 to see the set of dies.  The box opens like a drawer and is very sturdy.  It is approximately 3" x 4".  Let me know if you can join me for a VALENTINE PLAY DAY next Saturday afternoon between 1 and 3 PM ~ there's lots to play with.  EMAIL ME!

Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper ~ storage

Both the new MINI and the SAB brochure are full of FABULOUS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER!  I store my 12" x 12" DSP in the folders below to keep them in the best condition possible and to keep them organized so that they are easier to use.  The storage folders come from Amazon and they are 12.75" x 12.95" x 0.13".  You get three in a package for $9.98.
