Spin the wheel??? Yes, that is exactly what this interactive card that Susan Tran made (with or for her grandsons I am sure!). The GIVE IT A WHIRL DIES allow you to spin the cardstock wheel so that different images appear in the window above the space cadet! So cute! Remember those cards when you were a child? Interactive cards are always fun! You can find this stamp set on page 57 and the dies on page 163 in the annual catalog. More tomorrow...
This is one of the Designer Series Papers that Stampin' Up! has discounted this month. There are pieces of this DSP that are PURRRRFECT for the upcoming Fall months and this would be the time to place your order ~ while they are on special. The video below does show the paper but it is sooooo much better in person. I have a package if you would like to see the details in the designs ~ stop by for a glass of ice tea and a cookie (did you print out the recipe???)
This card is particularly pretty because of the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper. So where in the world do you find that paper??? Look on page 7 in the Sale-A-Bration brochure that you found in your mail box recently. Do you see it? Oh no ~ it is in black & white! Actually ~ that is the BEST because it can be any color that you can imagine! Print out the PROJECT SHEET below and save it. You'll want to use it as soon as you order this paper ~ FREE!
Susan Tran shared these yummy cookies at a recent stamp club meeting and I thought I would share the recipe with you. I have made them several times ~ Alan loves them & they make really good breakfast cookies! Thanks for sharing Susan!
I thought that I had better explain yesterdays 'cat card' on my blog. My Halloween cat in a box (which I found hysterical because it happens frequently here) is from a stamp set, CLEVER CATS, that I used to create cards for a JULY - DECEMBER MINI CATTY SWAP that I have been working on all week. I finished the swap and celebrated by posting that card on my blog! I was busy because I was working on two swaps at the same time. The second one is to create samples for SALE-A-BRATION which begins on August 1st and lasts until the end of September. Here is the card that I created for that swap ~
This SAB stamp set is called DELICATE DAHLIAS. It is a photopolymer set with 12 stamps and includes four sentiments. I think you'll like it! My swaps go in the mail tomorrow ~ all the way to PA to be swapped out by my crafty friend, Kim. Can't wait until the end of the month when I will received swaps created from the Mini & SAB. Did you get your catalogs yet? What do you think????
I think this one is my favorite so far ~ the NOTES OF CHEER CARD KIT! You can order it from me if you are coming to a class or a club but you can ALWAYS order online!! It is a $12 kit and makes 9 cards with pretty envelopes! The order number is #156991. Here's SARA ~
Chalk pastels for coloring, 8 colors ~ Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Poppy Parade (my fav)!
Something different this week ~ Mini Cards that you can add to a gift or just leave on someone's desk, in their mailbox or as a tip for their excellent service! I usually use 12" x 12" cardstock when I make mini cards ~ score at 3" and 9" and cut at 6". Then layer the two 6" x 12" pieces on top of each other and cut at 3", 6" & 9" ~ you will have eight mini cards! These cards use the wonderful dies that come with the Quiet Meadow Bundle. Enjoy!
