Quiet Meadow Bundle

QUIET MEADOW Bundle is on page 110 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.  The stamp set is bundled with a set of six natural looking flower dies, two butterfly dies and two tags. The quiet Stampin' Up! video below will show you two impressive cards made with this bundle. 

                                                            

And, this is a card I made using this bundle for my BLENDER BRUSH CLASS 102.  I used one of the flower dies to create a mask and used the blender brush to add color around the flower mask.  I adhered the die cut to the card by rolling mini glue dots between my fingers and then added three of them to the back of the mask.  I rolled the dots to make them less sticky so that I could easily remove the die cut once I added the color.  What do you think?

Designer Series Paper SALE but ~

Pansy Petals Suite by Stampin' Up!

You can find the PANSY PETALS suite on page 28 in the Annual Catalog.  The stamp set is bundled with a set of dies ~ actually 21 dies!!!!  And, the dies coordinate with the Designer Series Paper!  There are 316 Leaves on the paper that fit with the dies and 110 Pansies that can be cut out with the dies!!  Amazing!  You could make lots of products and never stamp ~ just die cut!!!  And, Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper SALE started July 1 ~ you save 15%!

                                                                        

 

Rescued by my friend.....

My friend, Diane, rescued me this morning by providing the missing information on my stamp set, JULY FOURTH.  Thanks for the research Diane!

Emboss Resist on the 4th!

HAPPY FOURTH!  This is an old Stampin' Up! stamp set ~ I don't remember what year and, unfortunately, I didn't mark the year on the box.  The title is JULY FOURTH and it is a keeper as we don't get many specific holiday sets (except Christmas) it seems.  The technique is 'Emboss Resist' and it is an easy one.  Stamp in VersaMark and cover the stamped images with clear embossing powder.  Set the images using your Heat Tool.  I used a Blending Brush and the Misty Moonlight stamp pad to add the background color over the embossing.  When you are satisfied with the depth of the color, wipe off the embossed images with a soft cloth to make them pop!  Have a great day!
