Project Sheet Tuesday

Reflected In Nature

Do you remember learning about a stamping technique called 'mirror image' or the 'reflection' technique?  One of the ways that we can do this is by using window sheets.

However, there is a much easier way that Stampin' Up! has included in the current Holiday Catalog on page 60.  REFLECTED IN NATURE does the mirror image effortlessly.

I made this card last night using the BEAUTY OF THE EARTH designer series paper (page 130 in the annual catalog) and my MISTY MOONLIGHT stamp pad ~ love that color!  Actually I made two of these cards and, unfortunately, on the second one I added the image upside down!!!!  You can tell because of the reflecting lines on the lake.  It is a surprise to find an upside down image when you take time to look at what you've done.  So, out came the UN-DU to remove the cardstock, let it day overnight and add it to the base card this morning ~ without having to add more adhesive.  UN-DU is amazing and everyone should have it on their craft table!!!
