A stamp tip..............

I made this card with the information on the daffodil diagrams that I posted yesterday.  If you have the bundle and want to make a similar card I definitely recommend that you use ADHESIVE SHEETS (152334) on the cardstock before you die cut.  The adhesive sheets are $10 and you receive 12  sheets that are 6" x 12".  The sheets are applied to the back of the cardstock and die cut.  When you are assembling the flower you simply peel off the 'wax' paper on the back and apply it to your card ~ no glue needed!  The cardstock is Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green and for the top layer I used Ombre Specialty Paper which sparkles (sorry my camera didn't pick it up).  The wavy accent line is created with the Stitched With Whimsy set of dies on page 166.

Daffodils ~ 24 dies!!!

I know that 24 dies can be overwhelming! The samples I have seen are lovely and DOABLE ~ with a little organization!  The three diagrams below should help all of us create a project much more easily (the third diagram is small and I am having trouble increasing the size ~ sorry).  Let me know if you find this helpful and send me your daffodil card ideas ~ I would love to see what you have created.

CAT/ART STUDIO

Join me to make some Valentines (and a treat box) at my OPEN HOUSE on the 5th of February.  You will have an opportunity to see products in the Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  We will be using the SWEET TALK SUITE (page 8, 9, 10) and LOVE & HAPPINESS (page 11).

BOXES

Layering Decorative Masks

On page 65 in the new Mini Catalog you will find a set of six LAYERING MASKS to use to create unique cards.  I used two of the masks this weekend (snow stamping) to create this card with the butterfly and the petal background mask ~

Buttterfly wmThis technique with the BLENDING BRUSHES creates a soft background and a colorful butterfly!  The Stampin' Up! video, below, is an excellent introduction to the process!
