Rusty's Card

Rusty's cardThis card was made by my stamping friend, Rusty Bedard, at my February Masking Class using the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks.  The doilies and the stamp used for the flower are from the HEART & HOME SUITE on page 58 in the Mini Catalog.  We will be making a similar card in the MARCH MASKING CLASS ~ sign up today!

Mystery at the Misty Moonlight

This email arrived on Friday and I am still smiling (actually, laughing).  I had to share...

You are cordially invited to the Mystery at the Misty Moonlight!

Anyone who's anyone from the Westside Brights and Eastside Regals criminal

downlines will be there ~ so watch your back at all times.

The 'Backstory' starts "It's the height of prohibition in 1920s Riverton and stamping has been outlawed.  With creativity made illegal, crafters are forced to slip into the dark corners of society.  Although tension runs high between the stampers, they rely on one another to follow one simple, unwritten rule ~ don't see, don't tell.  They find artistic relief in secret underground stamp clubs that have been popping up around the city, a place where stampers abandon inhibition at the door.  They're free to stamp while jazz music lulls them into a sense of temporary tranquility.

It goes on from there ~ a very clever description of an event that I am looking forward to next month.  My niece, Katherine is Ms. Merlot (Former Top Demonstrator, Beginner Pilot/Eastside Regals) and I am Ms. Spruce (Stamp Boss/Eastside Regals)!!!

YOU ARE AMAZING

This card uses some of my favorite products!  I think that the SUNSHINE & RAINBOWS 6" x 6" DSP is my favorite in the Sale-A-Bration brochure because it is so colorful and happy!  And, this card uses RAINBOW GLIMMER PAPER (#153056 on page 135 AC) with the AMAZING THANKS DIES (#157819 on page 40 in the January Mini Catty).  If that isn't enough the words are raised with FOAM ADHESIVE SHEETS (#152334, page 167 AC)!  The adhesive sheets are like dimensionals but the foam covers the entire back of the paper and you cut it out using the die.  Even though it is thick it has no problem going through the Big Boss Machine (as compared to the Little Boss Machine ~ 20% off next month!)  So print out the PROJECT SHEET, below for your own card directions.  Change the DSP and you can repeat this card again and again!

Calming Camellia

This is a very special stamp set in the SALE-A-BRATION brochure.  You can find it on page 17 on the HOST ~ Share the Fun ~ section.  If you host a party, or simply call some stamping friends, and have a total order of $300 you will receive the exclusive Calming Camellia stamp set for FREE.  It really is lovely ~ look on page 17 to see some really neat ways to use it!  The sample below is simply stamped in Basic Gray and then layered.  Print off the PDF for directions
