Melissa's Mistake?

We all make mistakes and, well, sometimes they turn out to be an improvement over our original intention. Which is just what happened in our Blending Brushes/Masking Class this morning! Melissa Burroughs was using one of the masks from the BUTTERFLIES & FLOWERS LAYERING DECORATIVE MASKS (#158142, $10, page 65 in the Mini Catalog). When she finished the center panel she moved on to add the design to the outside of her envelope but instead grabbed the base card and added the design on the edge. Which turned out to be a 'mistake' and an improvement, one that everyone in the class liked!!!

The moral of the 'story' ~ not to worry about changes/mistakes ~ they are the foundation of CREATIVITY!
