The May 2022 - April 2023 ANNUAL CATALOG has made it to Hampton Roads! I have heard from four or five of you that you received it in your mailbox this weekend. However, DIXIE gets the prize ~ she was the very first!!! And, the prize is the SHARE HOPE PAPER PUMPKIN KIT available now ~ #158541!
The lovely picture above is on the back of your catalog ~ so pretty ~ love the mixture of flowers ~ real and stamped ~ can anyone tell me where I can find the stamped flowers in the new catalog. Another prize for the first person to correctly identify the stamp set!
We all make mistakes and, well, sometimes they turn out to be an improvement over our original intention. Which is just what happened in our Blending Brushes/Masking Class this morning! Melissa Burroughs was using one of the masks from the BUTTERFLIES & FLOWERS LAYERING DECORATIVE MASKS (#158142, $10, page 65 in the Mini Catalog). When she finished the center panel she moved on to add the design to the outside of her envelope but instead grabbed the base card and added the design on the edge. Which turned out to be a 'mistake' and an improvement, one that everyone in the class liked!!!
The moral of the 'story' ~ not to worry about changes/mistakes ~ they are the foundation of CREATIVITY!
Kelly also brought cards that she made with the RAINBOW OF HAPPINESS BUNDLE on page 18 in Stampin' Up's Mini Catalog. The bundle includes the stamp set (14 stamps) and the coordinating dies (8 dies). She used different colors of glimmer paper for the rainbow.
And, you might have some of this colorful SUNSHINE & RAINBOWS 6" x 6" DSP ~ it was part of SALE-a-bration this year! It goes great with the Rainbow Bundle. Kelly's STAMP CLUB met on Tuesday evening this week and she brought some wonderful cards that she created using these products with her.
