Melissa ~ personal approach to PP

Melissa:  "When I got the “Sending Good Thoughts” PP in June (?), I liked it but did not love it…..could not decide why.  I also try to get AS MUCH as possible out of every Paper Pumpkin kit, so sometimes I ponder the kit for a few days/weeks (months).

Eventually it occurred to me why I was hesitant – I like my designs a little more simple and the card straight from the kit was a bit busy for my personal style.  SO what did I do? I cut EVERYTHING in half, and DOUBLED the number of cards (adding my own Basic White card bases) and simplified the design. I followed the lay-out instructions almost exactly, just using half……I needed a few extra bottles, so I used some Basic White CS and traced/fussy cut more bottles from the template of the pre-punched bottles. A little blender brush with some Basic Grey and some Pacific Point, and VOILA almost as good as the originals.  I love the results!"
