Red Buffalo Plaid

Gingham EFI made this birthday card for my sister, Sarah, whose birthday is at the end of November.  I had just gotten this Gingham Embossing Folder which you can find on page 9 in the Mini Catalog.  It is part of the SWEET TALK SUITE and you can see two ways to use it in the pictures on page 8.  Use it to create background texture on your cardstock like the Happy Valentine's Day card on the left or use it with ink to create an obvious gingham pattern like the card next to it with the tiny envelopes.  The ink goes directly on the embossing folder so that when it is pressed through the Cut & Emboss Machine it creates texture and design.

I am sure you have seen lots of samples of recent products using the Red Buffalo Plaid.  I like it!  One of my gifts to Sarah was a pillow in this pattern and I even found wrapping paper to match!

One of the most popular Stampin' Up! products in the SALE-A-BRATION brochure is the stamp set COUNTING SHEEP (#156591).  And, the SHEEP DIES (156600) that coordinate with the stamp set!  These three cards are swap cards that I received earlier this month from my wonderful demonstrator friends.  Tomorrow ~ a PDF showing you how to make the cute sheep face each other!

Sunday afternoon Stampin' Up! class ~ Sand & Sea

How purrrrfect ~ a rainy windy cold day and we celebrated by creating 'beachy' cards and enjoying being together in the warm comfortable studio!  Lovely!  You can find this wonderful suite of Stampin' Up! products on pages 40 - 42 in the Mini Catalog.  This bundle of stamps and products are really purrrrfect for anyone living in Tidewater Virginia surrounded by the Bay and the Ocean ~ here are the cards we made yesterday....

Using the die, embossing folder and designer series paper
Using the die, stamps and Seaside Spray ink.
The easiest way to create this card is to stamp the shells and fussy cut! I know Abby won't like that idea!!!
This birthday card uses the DSP, yarn and square vellum doilies.
