Celebrate the Miracle Card Tutorial
I was so happy that Stampin’ Up! recently released a stamp set that allows us to make cards for our Jewish friends to help them “Celebrate the Miracle” of Chanukah.
Cardstock: Basic White—159276, 1 piece cut with smallest rectangle in the Radiating Stitches Dies.
Thick Basic White—1 piece cut 5-1/2” X 8-1/2 “for your card base, scored and folded at 4-1/4.”
Misty Moonlight—153081, 1 piece cut 4” X 5-1/4.”
Inks: Misty Moonlight-153118, Crushed Curry-147087, Gray Granite-147118
Stamps: Celebrate the Miracle--165131
Tools: Paper Trimmer—152392
Bone Folder--102300
Radiating Stitches Dies—161595
Accessories: Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins—162029, Silver & White Sheer Ribbon—162149, approximately 7 “
Adhesives: Multipurpose Liquid Glue-110755, Stampin’ Dimensionals-104430, Mini Glue Dots--103683
Instructions:
1. Cut and score card the Thick Basic White card stock piece.
2. Cut the Basic White cardstock piece using the smallest rectangle in the Radiating Stitches dies.
3. Cut a piece of the Sheer & Silver ribbon and wrap it across the 5-1/4” length of the Misty Moonlight card stock and adhere the ends of the ribbon on the back.
4. Adhere the Misty Moonlight piece to the front of the folded Basic White C/S base.
5. Stamp the following on the Radiating Stitches die piece— “Happy” “Chanukah” with Misty Moonlight ink, the menorah in Gray Granite ink, the candles in Misty Moonlight ink, and the flames in Crushed Curry ink.
6. Adhere the stamped piece centered over the Sheer & Silver ribbon using Dimensionals.
7. On the inside of the card, stamp the following: “Celebrate the Miracle” using Misty Moonlight Ink, the larger Star of David on top of the sentiment using Crushed Curry ink stamped off, and the two dreidels using Gray Granite ink.
8. Adhere a trio of the clear Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins on the card front.
