Kathy's Easter Bunny!

IMG_0945

Kathy Winter made this card for our swap on Saturday.  She used the EASTER BUNNY stamp set that you can find on page 50 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.  Did you download the PROJECT SHEET yesterday using the same stamp set?  It is an exceptionally good Easter stamp set with three bunnies to choose from.  Kathy's card was time consuming I am sure because look how she completed the inside!  Wonderful card Kathy!!!

Spring Swap Cards continued...

IMG_0944The decoration of bunnies on this Easter Egg remind me of my back yard in the Spring ~ bunnies everywhere!  This lovely card was made by Patricia Dominici.  The color she used is so SPRING ~ Lemon Lolly ~ so fresh!  The Excellent Eggs bundle of stamps and dies are on page 27 in the Mini.  More Spring cards....

Saturday Swap Cards

Our theme was Spring cards and Margaret Spencer made this darling Spring Easter Bonnet.  She used the Deckled Circles Dies (#162286), folded, for the brim and the oval die from the Excellent Eggs Bundle (#162808) ~ with lots of flowers!  So cute!

Patti Barish created this card using the Enduring Beauty stamp set on page 38 in the Mini Catalog (#162670).  The bundle includes a set of masks which you use with your blending brushes to shade the flowers, there are samples on page 39.

IMG_0946Geri Foster created this beautiful Easter card using the EASTER LILIES BUNDLE on page 26 in the January Mini Catalog.  The bundle includes the stamp set and 11 dies.  Geraldine teaches craft classes at Hampton University and does beautiful work!  I am so proud of my team of talented ladies and it is always fun to get together for our monthly Saturday meetings!

Tuesday Project Sheet

If you've had a chance to look through the new Mini Catalog you may remember the COUNTRY FLORAL LANE collection on page 8.  I was absolutely sure that I did not need another set to send Valentine cards to friends ~ however, this collection changed my mind!  The stamp set is bundled with a punch and the punch coordinates with the designer series paper ~ that's what I used on this card.  In addition the DSP comes in two sizes ~ the 6" x 6" is Gingham and works well with the 12" x 12" designs.  The colors are Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet.  I hadn't used Petal Pink in a long time and, at my meeting on Saturday, we decided to rename it Petal Peach!  What do you think?  I know you can't make this card now but ~ save the Project Sheet for January!
