Posted for You ~ a sweet bundle..........

POSTED FOR YOU BUNDLE on page 81 in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog makes lovely all occasion cards for you to send or to give.  It is even a possibility for upcoming celebrations like Valentine's Day.  I know ~ none of us can think past Friday of the upcoming week ~ are you still feeling 'behind' ~ I am!!!!

Happy Paper!

I needed a pretty and bright get well card this morning for my friend, Adrienne.  This is the card I created for her.  I used the stamp set, SO SENTIMENTAL, on page 74 in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog.  The stamp set coordinates with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies on page 179.  I hope it cheered her up ~ just the colors would cheer me up!  The colors I used ~ Melon Mambo and Seaside Spray are both in the plaid paper that I used.  The combination of colors is one of many in the PLAID TIDINGS 6" x 6" designer series paper (page 57 in the Mini Catalog)  ~ this happy paper retires at the end of the month (or, rather January 3), so sad!

Arrange A Wreath ~ Stampin' Up! ~ SALE!

You might have overlooked this stamp set, ARRANGE A WREATH, because it is hidden away in the ANNUAL CATALOG ~ on page 127.  I recently fell in love with it and used it in my CHRISTMAS CARD CLASS last weekend (to be repeated on Tuesday, December 1, if you are interested ~ I have space for one more stamper!).  It is the BEST ~ it's an all year around stamp set ~ Valentine's, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and 'Best Wishes' for any occasion.

The first card is the one we created in class on Saturday afternoon ~ the other is similar with a change of colors.  What do you think?

Good Morning!

I know that many of you have this stamp set, GOOD MORNING MAGNOLIA, it is a favorite for a good reason ~ wonderful sentiments and beautiful art work.  I used it recently in my 2021 CALENDAR CLASSES and, while it was busy in the studio, I thought I would use it.  I hadn't used bleach on cardstock for a VERY long time and I wanted to see what the results would be on the in-color, JUST JADE.  I embossed the image first and then 'painted' inside the embossed areas with a small brush and bleach.  I like the result, what do you think?

I decided to create a second project using the same technique.  In addition, this time I changed the color of the ribbons using a sponge and ink from the stamp pad ~ or, a refill ~ sorry I can't remember which.  What do you think?  If you would like a PROJECT SHEET, let me know!

Stampin' Up! Curvy Time!

Curvy Celebrations 1This is a card I made using a new BUNDLE (stamp set and dies saves 10%!) that Stampin' Up! has available from now until January 4 (and, will be featured in the January ~ June Mini Catalog).  It is unique because of the curved-edge dies and stamps.

World Card Making Day
Magic in This Night DSP, page 53, Mini Catalog

This is the card I made on WORLD CARD MAKING DAY, what did you make?  It was the first Saturday of this month ~ a special day to create ~ and the following week was CARD SENDING WEEK.  Stampin' Up! wants to know how many cards we sent and their GOAL IS 60,000 CARDS (worldwide!)!  Let me know by Thursday (that's tomorrow) at 6 PM how many cards you made so I can 'collect' and report for us!!!  Think about the week beginning October 5, add them up and let me know.  I made a dozen of the card above but I have several left...I did send others though, what about YOU?  Let me know..........

World Card Sending Week is over and we want to count how many cards the Stampin’ Up! family sent. Our global goal is 60,000 cards, so we want you to reach out to your family, friends, and customers and find out how many cards they sent during World Card Sending Week. Report the total to us (including your own cards), by 23 October!

Every card counts, so keep adding right up to the last minute (the survey link can be used multiple times). Watch for the rising thermometer recording the totals on Facebook. We’re literally counting on you!
